Lime Poppy Seed Dressing


  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. lime peel
  • 1/8 tsp. mace
  • 3 Tbs. lime juice
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds


In a small mixer bowl, stir together honey, lime peel, lime juice, poppy seeds, salt and mace.

Beat honey mixture with an electric mixer on medium-high speed while gradually adding oil. Continue beating until mixture thickens.

Cover; chill. Stir to remix before serving.

If, after chilling, mixture becomes too thick to drizzle, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
