Thread: 6qt crockpot?

  1. Default 6qt crockpot?

I am new to WW and to using a crock pot! I just got one for my birthday and it's a 6 qt. Is that too big for these recipes? Will it still be ok if it is bigger or do I need to go and invest in a smaller one. I cook for 4-5 people.

    If anyone knows, please reply.

    Thanks in advance
    Irene

I have a 6-qt. pot as well and have been using it to make many of the recipes here. They have all turned out fine. The only thing I have noticed is a bit of "cooking on" around the edge of the pot, but nothing serious.

It'll be fine. Enjoy your crockpot! I love mine.

I just bought a 6 qt. crock-pot this weekend. I already made the Salsa Chicken recipe in it and it worked out just fine!
