    Default Crockpot "Pulled" Barbecue Pork

    Hello all,

I am making this one for dinner tonight, and I just sampled it! YUM! My DH is going to request this one again for sure!

    Crockpot "Pulled" Barbecue Pork
    Servings: 8
Points per Serving: 4 (Plus the roll)

    3/4 cup of diet cola
    3/4 cup of barbecue sauce
    1 large onion, diced
    2 pounds of pork tenderloin
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. chili powder

Cut loins into smaller pieces. Place all ingredients into crockpot. Cook on high for 5 - 6 hours. Shred pork, place back into sauce and serve on light hamburger roll.

    Enjoy!

I'm printing this up, but I think that I will try it with pork loin roast...and lengthen the cooking time...sounds yummy! (We are in love with Red, Hot & Blue - a Memphis-style BBQ chain...we used to have one, but they closed up and now whenever DH gets to Detroit, he brings home a container LOL!) Also, Hoggy's is good, too; however, at least I would know what exactly my points are!

I wonder if the same could be done with chicken. I imagine it could with similar cook times.

I think I might try this later this week.

What is the serving size? I am not sure how much to use of the meat to = the 4 points. Thanks!

Im a little cooking challenged. I want to make this tomorrow. I bought a pork tenderloin roast. I am unsure how to cut it up..as in..slices? chuncks? what size pieces.
