    Default Overnight French Toast- 5pts

Heres one that sounds very kid-friendly. I might actually try this for a supper instead of breakfast soon.

1(8-10 oz) loaf French bread, cut into 1" slices (discard ends)
    5 beaten eggs
    1 cup 1 % milk
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
20 oz bag frozen whole strawberries
    4 medium ripe bananas
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon apple pie spice
    cinnamon sugar

place bread in 9X13 pan. Combine eggs, milk, baking powder & vanilla extract; mix well. Pour over bread, cover & refrigerate overnight. In the morning, heat oven to 450. In large bowl, combine frozen strawberries, bananas, sugar & apple pie spice. Place fruit mixture in another 9X13 coated w/ cooking spray. Top fruit w/ soaked bread (strawberries are still frozen). Sprinkle bread w/ cinnamon sugar. Bake for 20-25 min or until golden brown.

    Makes 8 slices- 286 cal, 5 g fat, 4 g fiber= 5 pts

20 oz bag frozen whole strawberries
    4 medium ripe bananas

    1 tablespoon apple pie spice
    cinnamon mixed with splenda

place bread in 9X13 pan. Combine eggs, milk, baking powder & vanilla extract; mix well. Pour over bread, cover & refrigerate overnight. In the morning, heat oven to 450. In large bowl, combine frozen strawberries, bananas, sugar & apple pie spice. Place fruit mixture in another 9X13 coated w/ cooking spray. Top fruit w/ soaked bread (strawberries are still frozen).
