1/4 c fat free cream cheese, softened
1 TBSP powdered sugar
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
8 slices french bread (sliced 1/2 inch thick)
8 tsp strawberry preserves
1/2 c Egg Beaters
1/2 c skim milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 TBSP powdered sugar for topping, if desired

In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, 1 TBSP powdered sugar and the orange peel until well blended. Spread 4 slices of the bread evenly with cream cheese mixture.

Spread 2 tsp preserves on each remaining slice of bread. Top each with 1 bread slice spread with cream cheese, making 4 sandwiches.

In a shallow bowl, mix egg product, milk and vanilla until well blended.

Heat 10 inch skillet or griddle over medium heat or to 375. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Cook in hot skillet 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle each sandwich with powdered sugar, if desired.
