    Default Cool 1 point desert

At my meeting a woman shared with me this recipe:

1 box of sugar free jello
    make as directed
1 box of FF sugar free pudding, add the powder to the jello
1 tub of FF cool whip
    Chill

1 cup is one point Cool thing about this recipe is that you can make various flavors and experiment.

I'm a little confused, do you add the pudding powder to the jello beforeyou mix in the waters to the jello? and then do you top it off with the cool whip or mix it all together? Sounds good either way, but I "need the info!" (austin powers quote)

Sorry for the confusion, you make the jello with the 1 c of boiling water and then add the cold water, mix that up then add the pudding powder, mix that in and then mix in the cool whip, chill for I guess about an hour.

Mom-I don't think it takes all that long, maybe 30 minutes. Of course the longer you can chill the better, mine chilled all night.

I used the 4oz of each but I guess you could make it with the 8 oz of each. A serving size is 1/2 cup.

Mom-great idea adding fruit!! How did you like it???

YUMMY!!!!! I made this with strawberry-banana jello and added banana pudding. I then had it with a cup of halved strawberries for no additional points. I can't wait to try it again with other combinations!!!!

Does this set up thick enough where it could be possibly used as a cake filling?

I just made this recipe and I love it. I tried cherry jello and chocolate pudding for something to eat when I had a sweet craving. It is awesome!

Could this be used as a pie filling in a graham cracker crust...my family is coming for a visit this weekend and I'm looking for an easy desert to make.

we use something like this in a graham cracker crust as a dessert.

Even better if you use RF pie crust, its only 2 points a serving.

Thumbs up Re: Cool 1 point desert

I just wanted to post to tell everyone that I did make this and put it in a RF graham cracker crust and my family loved it. I used black cherry jello and white chocolate pudding. This is one I can foresee myself making a lot of...low in points and incredibly tasty. My brothers even asked for the recipe.

Cool! I tried the lime jello and the pistaseto(sp) pudding. It was good but the lime overshadowed the others taste. Any one else have some neat combinations to share?

Try Lime jello (dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water) after cool add 2 8oz. containers low fat/fat free lime yogurt. You can use any flavor jello and any flavor yogurt.

Okay, I am SOO addicted to this recipe, I make it at least once a week. However, i just realized that I have been using the Lite cool whip instead of the newer fat free version. Does anyone know off hand if this increases the points? I have been mostly using it on a RF graham cracker crust...It definitely tastes like more than 2 pts, however, i think the difference in calories is like 10, and the difference in fat is like 1 gram.

    Thanks!

I made some fluff years ago..... I took 8 oz. ff cottage cheese, 1 cup crushed pineapple drained, 8 oz ff cool whip and small box of diet jello.

I put the cottage cheese in food processor and get it all smooth ~ then I add the other ingredients. I usually just add the diet jello and mix real good. Its light and fluffy.

I have never added any water to dissolve the jello, just mix right in~
