Yummmmmmy, I know what I'm having for breakfast next weekend if I can find the DV SF syrup anywhere around here. What flavor did you use?

I've tried it with several different flavors. Today I tried pancake syrup flavor but it didn't taste real "syrupy". Amaretto, Cookie Dough, Irish Cream and French Vanilla are good. I tried strawberry once and didn't care for it much.

This was really yummy! It will definitely be a regular for my breakfast. I used the sugar-free french vanilla syrup, and it was just right for me. I also had a couple slices of reduced-fat white and wheat bread. I liked it better with the white bread for some reason, maybe the wheat bread overpowered the taste or something?

My 22 month-old loved it too - I'm glad I made 4 slices, because she ended up eating one!

    Thanks!

I thought 1/2 cup egg subst. was 2 pt. My carton and WW book says 1/4 cup is 1 pt. The recipe would be 4 pt. I would use 1/4 cup egg sub and 2 slices of WW bread for a 2 pt breakfast.

My egg substitute is 30 calories 0 fat 0 fiber for 1/4 cup. So 1/2 cup is 60 calories 0 fat 0 fiber, still 1 point.

Thanks. I've been using Kirkland (Costco's brand). I'll check out the Eggbeaters. I like to get as much for my points as I can.

I made a boo boo. My egg beaters (kirkland) are also just 30 cals and 1 pt for 1/2 cup. I guess I was only going by the WW book and not the label. I'm thrilled. It's French toast tomorrow for breakfast!!

I eat French Toast for breakfast quite often. I use 2 light bread, cup of egg beaters (with a little water in it to spread farther), and PAM. I cook it on the stove.

Also, I use a sugar free maple syrup that only has 10 calories for cup (no fat or fiber). Altogether, 2 pieces of (light) French Toast with cup of syrup comes to 1.7 points (130 calories, 3.6g of fat, 6g of fiber). I guess it would be more if you limit your fiber to 4g. (Then it would be 2.1 points). I also eat 2 Boca Breakfast Sausages when I have French Toast. (I love the taste of syrup on breakfast sausage). 2 sausages come to 1.3 points (70 calories, 3g fat, 2g fiber). Put together, they make a 3 point breakfast. Pretty filling too.

Joanne, I feel like I am food stalking you! LOL
I can't wait to make this French Toast. Tomorrow is my shopping day so I'll be loading up on the items to make this. I can't find Da Vinci syrup around here, will any SF syrup do if the calories are the same? I don't want to screw this up!
    Thanks again!

I haven't tried it without Davinci, but I don't see why you couldn't just use some splenda and cinnamon. The Davinci Syrups are 0 calories, but if you have another SF Syrup you could try it, but if it has points you just need to add them.
