Does anyone know if there is a version of mastercook for Mac users? Or something similar?

Hi Newme7 I bought Mastercook today at Staples. I am looking at the box, and still can't answer your question but here's two sites that may help:
    http://www.sierrahome.com/cooking
    http://www.valusoft.com

one of these two should be able to answer you, I hope Good luck.

Angel, what version of Mastercook did you buy at Staples and how much was it? Version 8.0 is $17.99 on amazon.com and I want to know if thats a good price. I have an older version from 1997 and want to update.

Arlene, sorry it took me so long to respond. Had the flu over the weekend and finally able to sit up for longer than to drink or run. Never mind..
Anyway, bought version 7.0 at Staples for $9.99 and really love it. I'm just starting to explore it's full potential. And I must tell you, Frisky has been great with lots of hints and links.
There's also a site on the Web--- www.5dollarsoftware I found this interesting and almost ordered it, but went to Staples that day. since it was only $9.99, factor in s+h, and didn't see the sense of waiting for shipping.
    Hope this helps.

Recipe software. The Nutrition tab gives info to figure WW points. You can import, export, print, and mail recipes. It's especially helpful for tweaking recipes and scaling the number of servings.

Here's the link for the latest version:

As for the MAC version, 4.07 was the last one made for Macs. You can usually find copies on Ebay and there is a Cooking Light 4.0 version that WW'ers tend to gravitate toward.
