Thanks for the link to this site. I checked it out and found some really good recipes. Best of all, the recipes seem like ones my family will eat. I'm trying a pork chop one out tonight.

Just thought I'd drop in to brag on this recipe. I used some left over frozen chops trimmed of fat instead of the loin, so my points will be higher, but MAN, IS THIS SOUP GOOOOOD! Just perfect for the blustery day we're having. Like fuzzy slippers in a bowl.

    Pork-and-Black Bean Chili (6 Points)

1 LB lean boned pork loin roast

    1 (16-oz) jar thick-and-chunky salsa

    2 (15-oz) cans no-salt-added black beans, undrained

1 cup chopped yellow bell pepper

    3/4 cup chopped onion

    1 teaspoon ground cumin

    1 teaspoon chili powder

    1 teaspoon dried oregano

    1/4 cup fat-free sour cream

Trim fat from pork; cut into 1-inch pieces. Combine pork and next 7 ingredients in a 4-quart electric slow cooker; stir well. Cover with lid; cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours or until pork is tender. Ladle chili into bowls; top with sour cream.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 2 cups chili and 1 tablespoon sour cream.

    Points: 6; Per serving: CAL 379; PRO 36.7g; FAT 9.4g (sat 2.8g); CARB 45.4g; FIB 14/2g; CHOL 62mg; IRON 6mg; SOD 405MG, CALC 136mg

I made this recipe last night from this website and it was really good!

I didn't have soy sauce, so I used teryaki sauce (nutritional analysis would need to be adjusted)

    Crocked Pineapple Chicken (4 PTS)

6 whole chicken breast halves without skin -- skinned and split
    1 dash pepper
    To taste paprika
20 ounces pineapple chunks in juice -- 1 can tidbits
    2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 clove garlic -- minced
Arrange chicken in bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. In a small bowl, combine drained pineapple tidbits, mustard and soy sauce. Pour over chicken. Add minced garlic. Cover and cook on LOW 7-9 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours. Makes 6 serving.

I've tried to send someone a link to this crockpot site and it doesn't work. Don't know why. It works fine from here.

Thanks for the info re: the web site, Christine. However, I wonder how accurate the points are? For example, I made the Ham and Potatoes au Gratin last night. I thought it was good but my hubby only said it was "pretty good". Anyway, it said there were only 3 pts/serving but when I looked at it closer, I got 6 pts/serving. Could somebody please figure out the pts on this one? Thanks!

Thumbs up Re: GREAT WW Crockpot Recipe Site

I love this site, too, but always double check the points. I'm glad to see someone tried the Pineapple Chicken, as that's on my menu for this week.

I've got some Elk Chili cooking away in the crock today (recipe NOT on this site), and it's calling my name already! LOVE MY CROCKPOTS!!!

I made the Campbell's One Dish Chicken and Rice and you guys, it was fabulous! I switched the white rice for brown though. I'm not sure if/how that affected the points. I want to try it again with cream of chicken soup.

That is a whopper of a recipe list. Thanks for sharing it. One of my strategies to stay motivated is infinite variety and I have been packing away individual meals in a compact freezer dedicated to WW.
In regard to WW points, I have learned to check points myself. When I started using recipes not from WW site, I found a delicious layered tortilla bake. The portion size was tremendous and the taste was fabulous and intuitively I had to figure it out myself. The author said 5.5 points for 8 servings. I counted 8.6 for 8 servings but when I divided by 12 servings it was just about 5.5.
DO check my math on recipes where I've measured each ingredient myself. My arithmetic is terrible! Fortunately, many recipes I am finding now have the nutritional information with fiber so I use the WW points finder. It only takes a minute.
