I have Hodgson Mill WW wide egg noodle and they contain whole egg solids. Would they still be considered Core?

My Core Food book does not list Hodgson Mills, however, whole eggs are Core. I would think it would be Core. Anyone else?

Listen to these other Core pasta choices:

Rye spirals; kamut pasta; udon; soba (100% buckwheat).

I think it's fine then. You figure you can only have whole wheat pasta once a day, but still, what's the diff between eating those eggs mixed in your pasta or having whole wheat pasta with a side of eggs?? Sounds like a winner to me.

I don't eat eggs, but they didn't have Hodgson mills at my Publix. I'm hoping they have it at my local HFS.

I had been making the Hodgson Mill 100% whole wheat pasta and my DH tolerated it. Then my grocery store stopped carrying it and I found Heartland 100% durum whole wheat pasta at Supercenter Walmart. The first time I made it, I cooked it just a little longer hoping that it wouldn't have that strange taste. Well, my DH thought it was regular pasta!! We have a winner on our hands. It's Heartland spaghetti for us!!!
