Thread: MasterCook Lesson 3 - Displaying Points #1

There are several ways to get points into your recipes in MC. I'm going to go over two of the ways that I use.

    1) Add to Recipe Name -- I like to add here so I can see at a glance what recipes have points figured and what the point value is. I enter value figured to tenths (i.e. 1.6) so I can tell how changing the serving size will affect the points.

    * Open recipe and use Nutrition Per Serving to figure points.

    * Push the pencil icon on the right hand side of the MC window; the edit window opens.

    * Click at the end of the recipe name in the Title field; this will place the cursor at the end of the title.

    * Type a dash and add the point value

    * Push the recipe card icon, above the pencil; recipe view opens; check your changes.

    * Push the recipe box icon; message appears, "Save Changes to 'Recipe Name'?". Push Yes or No.; Recipe Browser opens.
