Thread: Slim Sloppy Joes

    I got this recipe from A Weight Watcher's Cookbook called, "Quick Cooking For Busy People"

    1 pound lean ground round
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup reduced-calorie ketchup
    2 tablespoons unprocessed oat bran
    1 tablespoon low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 (8-oz) can of tomato sauce
    6 reduced-calorie hamburger buns, split and toasted.

    Cook meat and onion in a large nonstick skillet until meat crumbles. Drain and return to skillet.

    Put all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low until hot. (It doesn't mention the crockpot in the cookbook..I just like to do it this way.)

    Serves 6 at 4 points each.

    "Stressed" spelled backwards is "desserts!"

    This sounds good. How long does it usually take to prepare.
