Thread: Greens?

    I want to cook more greens, which are loaded with calcium, iron, you name it. I am familiar with collards, mustard, kale, etc.. but how the heck to cook it? And also, how about fennel? what is that?

    I just steam the greens until they wilt. Or for more flavour sautee with some crushed garlic and lemon juice or sesame oil. In addition to the ones you mentioned, I like beet greens.
    Fennel is a root that looks like a bit like a round celery. It is sweet and tastes a bit like licorice. I've always had it raw in salad, but I've heard it's good roasted too.
