N-Alarm Death Chili

1-5 Scotch Bonnet of Habernero Peppers
2 Large Vidalia Onions (2.5 cups chopped)
2 TBSP Fresh minced ginger
1 TBSP Black Pepper
1 TBSP Chili Powder
1 TBSP Paprika
2 Bay Leaves
1 TBSP oil (corn or canola)
1.5 cups Orange Juice
28 oz can Minced Tomatoes & Garlic
52 oz can Light Kidney Beans

Mince Peppers and chop onions.
Heat the oil in a skillet until very hot 350F+
Add spices, ginger and pepper to hot oil and quickly stir for 45 seconds
Pour mixture into large pot
Cook onions in the same skillet until they start to turn translucent.
Pour onions into pot.
Add remaining ingredients to pot and simmer for 2 hours.

Makes 10 hearty servings
