Swedish Meatballs

2 pounds extra lean ground beef -- 94% - 96% lean
1 large egg
1/4 cup dehydrated onion flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons table salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon whipped butter
1 tablespoon fat-free beef broth
2 1/2 cups fat-free beef broth
1/3 cup fat-free sour cream
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Wondra® Quick-mixing flour
4 slices wheat bread, low calorie
1 1/2 cups water

Tear bread into pieces. Combine bread with 1 1/2C water; set aside 2 minutes. Add egg, onion, salt and pepper, mix together. Add ground beef to mixture. Using 1 Tablespoon mixture per meatball, shape into balls. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In skillet, over medium heat melt butter and 1 tablespoon beef broth. In batches, add meatballs; cook turning until browned-1-2 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon; arrange on baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until no longer pink in the middle. Whisk flour into broth, stir into drippings. Bring to boil; cook until thickened, 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Whisk in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Add meatballs; cook until heated through, 1-2 minutes. Makes 72 meatballs. One Serving = 9 meatballs.
