1 pound lean beef -- sliced very thinly
Marinade:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 inch fresh ginger root -- minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 green pepper -- sliced into strips
1 red bell pepper -- sliced into strips
1/2 pound mushrooms -- sliced into strips
1 onion -- sliced into strips
1 1/4 cups water

1. Mix marinade ingredients in a non reactive bowl. Marinade beef.

2. Saute veggies in 3/4 C. water for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add beef with marinade and stir to brown all sides. Add 1/2 cup water to make a thick sauce.
