Hamburger Pie

Crust:
1 lb. lean hamburger
1/2 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano

Combine the ingredients and mix well. Pat into a pie shell. Set aside.

Filling:
1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
1 1/2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine rice, sauce, salt water and 1/4 cup of the cheese. Spoon into meat shell. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Return to oven and bake uncovered for 10 - 15 minutes longer.
