Thread: 6 point Biscuits and Gravy!

    Makes 5 servings: 275 calories, 6 gm fat, 2 gm fiber, 22 gm protein. 3/4 cup gravy over 2 biscuits is the serving size - very satisfying!

    7.5 oz can pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, baked according to package directions.

    8 oz 90% lean ground turkey or beef
    fresh black pepper
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp sage
    1/4 tsp thyme
    1/4 tsp paprika
    2-1/2 cups skim milk
    1/4 cup flour
    8 oz ff cream cheese

    Brown meat in non-stick sprayed skillet, add seasonings. Shake flour with skim milk and pour into skillet with browned meat; add cream cheese and stir to melt cheese and thicken sauce, stirring often.
