Thread: Pasta and Shrimp

1. #1

I just had the best pasta and shrimp plate.

Here is what it was:

1 Cup of Cooked Angel Hair Pasta
1 cup medium shrimp
2tsp. of parmesan cheese
Old Bay seasoning to taste.

I put the shrimp in skillet out of frozen bag, already peeled and deveined from Sams. Sprayed butter on them and sprinkled bay seasoning to your liking. Covered and cooked juice out of them
then uncovered last few minutes to completely cook all juice out of skillet. Put them over the
cooked pasta, sprinkled with parmesan and wa-la
a wonderful dinner.
1 cup pasta - 3 pts
1 cup med shrimp - 2 pts
parmesan 2 t. - 1 pt.
Total 6 pts I counted it 7 just to be safe but think it is 6 pts.
I estimated this hope that is what it is.

Good Huh....I have the shrimp from sams and the pasta....and I have some seasoning...I will try this Cause you know when you just want to throw something easy together this sounds like it will fit the bill
When everything is beyond my control...I can control what I put in my mouth.

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but, I've never heard of Old Bay Seasoning. Is there something I can substitute that may give a similar flavor?

Any kind of cajun seasoning will do.
