    From Susan Mendelson's Expo '86 cookbook -- I haven't found easier or tastier crust anywhere -- and each 1/8th is 4 points - plus your cheese - use 2% mozza or cheddar or parm and load it up with roasted peppers, artichokes, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, pineapple and olives and you have maybe a 7 point piece of pizza! -- You figure your own toppings & measure out your own cheese!

    1-1/4 cup warm water
    1 tsp sugar
    1 pkg (2-1/2 tsp) dry yeast

    1-1/4 cup white flour
    1-1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp salt

    5 tbsp veg oil

    Large bowl, warm water, swirl in sugar, sprinkle yeast, let foam 5 mintues.

    Mix together flours & salt, stir into proofed yeast with oil, knead until smooth and elastic -- adding more flour or water if wet or too dry. Pop into a non-stick sprayed bowl and spray top of dough, cover and let rise to double about 1 hour. Punch down and make your pizza!

    Recipe says you can refrigerate up to 3 days after it has risen, or freeze up to 3 months -- thawing in fridge for 7-8 hours before using -- I've never done this -- we use it right away!

    Thank You so much for posting this! I have a hard time with pizza. Whenever I can't take not having it anymore, I go out and eat tons of pizza. I always wished it was lower in points so I could enjoy it op. Those pop doughs in the store are high in points. This is great! I can make my own pizza and still be op. Thank you very much!

    Actually, I just did a crust in my bread machine -- it has even less oil:

    1 cup water
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    2-1/2 cup flour (I used 1 white, 1-1/2 whole wheat)
    1 tsp yeast

    24 points for the crust - 3 points per 1/8th
