Three Bean Salad (easy)

2 cans of cut green beans(juice and all)
2 cans of cut wax beans(drained)
1 can of garbanzo beans(drained)
1 cup of white vinegar
1 cup of splenda

Place all of the above in a bowl, and stir them up. Let them refrigerate over night.

The garbanzo beans are 4 points, and the rest of the ingredients should be 0 points since you are not actually drinking or consuming the liquid that has a cup of splenda in it. Actually, I recycle the juice! When the beans are about all gone, I add more beans to the juice. This has been a lifesaver for me this summer.

I used to like to make this recipe using red kidney beans instead of garbanzos. Since I started WW I haven't been making it cause the original had oil and sugar in it. I'll have to try yours. I get so tired of regular salads sometimes.

This looks good. We love anything "bean" related here. I'm going to try it.

Thanks,

I make this using the "Red Kidney Beans" which are lower in points than the Garbanzo. I also add a Tbls of Olive Oil. I save the Garbanzo for making "Hummus."
One cup Splenda = 2 pts.

Thanks! I love 3-Bean salad...bought a can of Green Giant last night when I discovered it was 0 fat grams....it's chilling for tonight's supper. My homemade is wonderful, used to make it by the gallons when I had my restaurant, but it's full of oil and sugar! A big scoop of 0 pt 3 bean salad with some LF cottage cheese sounds like Heaven to me!!
