I have a quick question. Being single and the only one in my household, when I get a craving for delivered pizza (Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc.) I normally order a small pizza. I'm not 100% sure how to do the points per slice in a small because the books and information I have reflect points for a large slice. I really don't feel honest just "guesstimating" how many points I'm eating. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I don't know if you've already checked it, but you might want to try Dotti's. http://www.dottisweightlosszone.com/restaurants.html

I quickly checked Pizza Hut for you and unfortunately she doesn't list a small pizza either. She does list 1 slice of Hand-Tossed medium cheese pizza as 5pts. Maybe the next time you go to the grocery store you could bring your slider, and calculate the points for a few different frozen pizzas, compare that info with the Pizza Hut info and come up with a pretty good guess-timate. Hope this helps!

Being a math geek, I'm thinking you could calculate based on area if you know how many inches. Get out your calculator! Yep, I'm cool.

So the thin crust veggie at Papa Johns is 5.5 points for 1/8 of a 14" large.
The area of a circle = (3.14)x (radius^2)
So with a 7" radius the area of a large pizza is 154. Divide by 8 and the 5.5 point slice is 19 square inches. 6/19=0.29 points per square inch
Now, say a small is 10" (I'm not sure about this). The area is then 3.14x5^2=78.5. Say there are only 6 slices in the small, then you get 13.1 sq. inches per slice. Multiply that by 0.29 points per square inch and you get 3.8 points per slice. 23 points for the whole pizza.

I recalculated for the pepperoni, with the regular crust, just because I'm a really big geek. 1 slice of the large of that one is 7 points. Each 1/6 of the small would be 4.8 points, or 29 points for the whole pizza.

Thanks so much buddies. Girlinmotion, math is my least favorite subject! It always made me crazy in school. I would never have come up with that, but thank you for putting it that way. I think I could just use that formula for any pizza and it should be pretty accurate. I sent an email to Papa Johns over 3 months ago and am still waiting for a reply. They replied that they got my message but no answer.
Have you looked at pizza hut's web site?
http://www.pizzahut.com/menu/nutritioninfo.asp
They have nutrition info for all their pizzas, Personal, medium and large sizes. Maybe we just need to give our business to companies willing to give us the full scoop. I love Papa John's but I don't get them very often cause I can't have a large pizza around and I don't like to guess my points.
