Thread: Wrigley's gum

  1. Post

What is the point value of gum. On a Wrigleys spearmint pack it says gum is 10 calories a slice. In the WW book it says 0 points for 2 slices of gum. So if I chewed a 5 peice pack how many points is that?

I don't usually count gum (but I do count sugarless hard candy) because I usually only chew 1-2 pieces per day, but if you chewed all five pieces in one day, it might not hurt to tack on .5 or 1 point. I know some might disagree, but it's all a matter of perspective. Either way, calories are calories, so keep that in mind.

I had two chewy mints today and I dont at all the count so I added a point guesstimate. one stick of gum would be 0 but 5 is 50 calories which is 1pt and I would count it like that.
