I was thinking about buying the peanut butter Da Vinci syrup and was wondering if anyone had purchased it and how they liked it. I really wanted it to mix with frozen yogurt or ice cream. I like peanut butter ice cream but the only low fat one I can find are the Skinny Cow Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwhiches.

I haven't tried it with ice cream or yogurt, but I was not impressed by the PB flavor. I have a ton of different DV flavors, but this one stays in the back of the cupboard. Your mileage may vary.

I'm not wild about the PB Davinci either, so I keep trying it in different ways to bring out its full potential. Of course, it must be really hard to duplicate the taste of PB , so I guess it's not that bad.

I have it... so far, I've only used the davinci syrups in my chocolate pumpkin oatmeal. I don't think the PB has a really strong flavor, but it may just be drowned out by everything else in that dish.

So, sorry, I'm not much help!

I think the PB flavor is GROSS - waste of money!

I'll agree - didn't like the PB DaVinci at all. Just threw it out last week after almost a year of trying to like it.

Now the SF Chai Tea flavor... mmmm!

Thanks for posting about the da vinci peanut butter. I was curious but wanted to check before buying a bottle and paying shipping and everything. I don't think I will be purchasing it.
    Thanks again,

Probably for the best, Betina. If you're ever up in Dallas you can have the rest of my bottle
I also have a bottle of Cinnamon that I opened but never used. Must have had a brain fade when I bought it. It said Cinnamon Sugar Free Syrup and I was thinking Cinnamon Sugar like on toast not Hot Cinnamon. I don't like hot Cinnamon so I'm stuck with that till I can find someone who likes it.

Darn, I was hoping that PB would be the "answer" to my PB addiction! Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby! Oh well, at least I got to read this before I jumped on the bandwagon. Glad you asked, Betina!

Cat, I was hoping the same thing. The individual tubes of Skippy have helped me re-introduce PB back into my diet. I can't be trusted with an open jar.

    Joanne,

I like the idea of those individual servings, I just wish they made them for the natural PB, though! I love the Smuckers natural PB. Sigh... peanut butter.....

I'm with you there, Cat. I use the natural when I'm home, but I keep it in the fridge so it's hard and less appealing. I also keep it in the back of the fridge so I have to dig it out when I've planned for it. Then I weigh out my serving on my digital scale and still struggle with putting it back without taking "just a taste". Since it's hard it doesn't stick to the spoon so there's no "licks". The tubes are handy to take to work and they saved my **** when we got stuck in Detroit during the blackout.
