I found this recipe in our local newspaper & made it a few weeks ago. It is good, but don't know the points. Could someone look it up on Master Chef & let me know?

    ROOT BEER ANGEL FOOD CAKE
3/4 cup root beer (I did not use diet)
1 box angel food cake mix (one step type)
    1 t. ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake as directed on package, replacing 3/4 c. water with root beer. Add nutmeg. Pour into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 20 - 35 minutes until cracks are dry to the touch. Cool pan inverted completely.
For icing, mix 2 t. root beer, 1 1/2 C. powdered sugar & 1/4 t.grated nutmeg. Spread over cooled cake. (I had to add milk to this to make it spreadable---I think they left out something in the icing recipe---it was way to thick)

I iced 1/2 the cake to see how it was without icing & it was good both ways.

    Thanks for your help

Will it work with diet rootbeer? How many points do you think it would be with the diet instead of regular?

Just wondering because it sounds good.

Thanks for calculating the points for me. I think it would work just as good w/diet root beer. It really is a good cake.

If you are using diet rootbeer you are only taking 81 calories off the entire recipe and not even 10 calories off each piece!
