I'm so psyched for my WI on Monday too Soda - I noticed my weight was a little down but nothing huge. It's been a super stressful week for me again.
I also had a small container of vegan ice cream to myself - so I used like 20 WAPs but that'll just make me focus even more for this weekend!

    47 WAPs used - 2 APs earned.

    Breakfast:
    Smoothie 3/29
    Lunch:
Pita Crisps (7) with Jalapeno Hummus (5) and 1/2 of my bf's grilled cheese (4)19/29
    Dinner:
mmm best hummus ever - had it with carrots and celery (4)23/29
    Snack:
Yogurt with blueberries (2) 25/29Cereal with soy milk (8) 33/29 - 4 WAPs used. Tomorrow I will need to NOT eat any WAPs.

I just finished watching Food, Inc. I think that documentary was discussed here before, but just now got around to watching it. It is an eye opener to what we are purchasing at the grocery store, how it is grown, how long it takes to get to us. I could go on but I won't. It is on youtube parts 1-8 or netflix either. I recommend that everyone watch it and make a stand for better nutrition and try to change the way our food is prepared.

My w/i is coming up Monday and just hoping I lost what I gained last week if possible or any loss would be nice. I have overdone it this week and trying to get back on track will nice.

B-toasted sandwich with new flatout fold it bread, turkey, shredded cheese, carrot shreds, and mushrooms (5).

    L-inside outside egg rolls (4).

    D-Spaghetti

OMG - I can't say how good that flatout sandwich fold bread is. It is rosemary olive oil and it is out of this world. Just 3 points plus, I would definitely recommend it if you like sandwiches of any kind.
Never give up or look back,

    Mickee

Becky - Good job getting the house ready to paint. Are you painting or having it done?

Soda - Sorry to hear about the difficult school change for ds. That must be so upsetting.

Mickee - Yeah, I am bummed that there are not an equal number of EXTRA hours for me to be able to have a complete life OFF the computer and a complete one ON the computer - ha ha.

A quick hello, ladies. I din't usually come on on weekends if dh is home and online himself.

We've had a busy day already and looking forward to some more activities. Dd is having a friend sleep over, so I need to vacuum and scrub two bathrooms. They are really cute friends, so it should be a great night.

b-half a smoothie with double powder, banana, coconut milk
    l-rest of smoothie
    s-lentil soup??
d-family having pizza, not sure if I will or not.

    Have a great day!

Cw - I think I was down a pound today. Will WI on Monday.

Bone scan done but no results yet. Waiting for a MRI appt. Using a walker now. My patients always say they have 10/10 pain. They don't. I really know what 10/10 pain is. The new meds help somewhat.

I did find the lentil soup recipe. Actually, it is a pumpkin lentil soup recipe that I altered. Used butternut squash instead of pumpkin. I think it was good, but I may need to double the spices next time. The flavors may blend and I may think it is delicious tomorrow. We'll see.

    Donna,
you're off work right? Do you have to wait long for the MRI? Are you able to get a good sleep at night?

So sorry to hear about you high levels of pain and completely impressed that you persevere in eating well.

    hey buddies!

I am pooped! Our neighbour came at 8am, and we painted until 6.30!! I had a couple of excursions (more paint, dropping off DS / picking him up for a playdate), but basically the 3 of us worked the entire day. Everything got done though, all the walls, woodwork etc. Now all i have to do is paint the 5 new doors before they get hung in place. We are so blessed to have a neighbour who is willing to help like that. Another family on our street has the dog for us, there's no way we could have had him in the house!

Foodwise, I used some WPA's today, but managed well. I have resisted temptation this evening. After a day like today I feel like i *deserve* some (insert food porn) - but I made do with a home made curry (no takeout!) and a 2 point fudgsicle!! I'm very proud.

Tomorrow we will put the furniture back where it belongs.

    Have a good evening,

    Becky

Donna, I am so sorry you are in pain. I'm assuming 10/10 means the worst pain.

I cannot believe the amount of things my family has accomplished since my mom died 3 weeks ago. Today we all went together to make her bequests; it was a very nice experience.

I've been making Spring Green Smoothies for breakfast. I found frozen peaches from the orchard of our last home...more than two years old! LOL

    Frozen peaches
    Banana
    1 TBS. flax seed (1)
2 TBS. raw unsalted cashews (2)
    POM juice (1)
    Kale
    For two servings ~

So good! I'm sorry my peaches are gone now. But my plan is to clean out the freezer before JUNE!

Personally? I like the BCB philosophy. It works best for me. Otherwise I'm like a sputtering motor...hard to get started, harder still to find traction.

When I hear about other people doing well, it makes me realize that I can do well, too. When they're OP, I know I can be OP. It's a positive cycle.

    .
May you be happy. May you be well. May you be free from suffering.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I finally joined WW online. My username is kjweaver if anyone wants to add me. I don't know how to use the WW app yet and if I'll have much time for it but I plan to track everything with the app. I'll count points for the next week or two and then decide if I want to do Core/SFT.

I'm going to try to keep up here too but it's going to take me a bit of time to figure out how to use everything so it might take a couple of days!!
