Default 6/365 SFT Food Plans - Power up your energy!

Good Morning - I am eating the Oatmeal pancake right now made with ff cottage cheese and it is sooooo much better than the other recipe I had. Thanks Kimberley!

Last night I made the Core lasagna - not sure I will make it again. I have plenty leftovers so I guess I will be eating at least some of it. It is ok but I think for the amount of calories, the taste is not worth it. I would much rather skip the noddles and do eggplant.

    Here is todays plan:

    B- Oatmeal Pancake w/ 1tsp maple syrup (1)

L- Garlic White Bean Soup and baby spinach (not sure what I am going to do with the spinach - might just put it right in the soup)

S - TBD - maybe 1/2 oz nuts and fruit

    D - salsa crockpot chicken

Headed to the gym - have a great day!

I'm trying to work up the reserves to walk on the TM today but I might just take the day off.

I made a batch of oatmeal pancakes for everyone (minus Claire) this morning and I feel much better about that than having the boys eat packaged (and often sugared) cereal every morning. It doesn't take long to make and it's basically the same ingredients as oatmeal (oats, eggs, soy milk, banana/fruit, plus spices). I do let them put some PB & maple syrup on but I control the amount! BTW- I'm glad you liked the alternative version Quinny!

I really enjoyed the baked potato w/light sour cream I had for dinner last night, so I'll do that for lunch today.

I have kiwis in the fridge that need to be eaten so I'll either eat them plain or else perhaps think about breaking out the VM to make a fruit smoothie!

If I don't come up with another plan for dinner tonight, we'll just finish off the last of the meatloaf from yesterday, along with some raw veggies!

I don't have much of a plan for today. I just barely crawled out of bed and trying to get the day started at now 8:30. Need to get DD moving and over to the home school group sometime today. Trying to finish up her senior year is a bit straining on me, not her.

    B-Greek yogurt and blueberries.

L-Tuna, english pea salad (1), saltine crackers (2)

    D-chicken of some sort.
Never give up or look back,

    Mickee

Hey buddies - just wanted to say I'm still alive, but REALLY sick.
Got stuck with a hacking cough and a head cold

Anyone know of a good syrup or pill to get me back to normal? I'm taking nyquil at night - which works really well.
I'm just not used to colds, so I'm not familiar with medications.

Thumbs up Re: 6/365 SFT Food Plans - Power up your energy!

Chelly, I use Nyquil at night. Lots of liquids and cough drops during the day. And I have a Vick's Personal Steam Inhaler that works great if it goes to your sinuses or lungs...

Chicken soup! Broth! It's the only time in my life that I want ginger ale.

Breakfast today: barley, green garbanzos (frozen from Costco--so good and fast!), steamed kale and carrots.

    late today!
busy and I am trying to not turn on the computer in the morning on work days as it slows me down - "just checking my e-mail for 10 minutes" and then 40 minute later.....

But I had a pretty good food day -more points counting than SFT but ok

: shredded wheat with bran and milk
    L: raw greens and chili
    S:apple
D: meal replacement bar (7) (odd, but I was grocery shopping after work, had to take DS to karate and then not home until after 6 and by then I have to have stopped eating in order to get a 3 - 4 hour clear window of no food before taking thyroid pill, so hence , the bar. )

late night eating - at 11:00 last night I was too hungry, had not eaten enough - had 2 cups of cooked grains with pumpkin and 1 tbsp of maple syrup on each, then 2 slices lite bread with pb and j

Michelle, When I am sick I do lots of tea, and at night I take NeoCitran ( probably like Nyquil to get sleep). If possible I stay home for a day and take NeoCitran to help me sleep all day too.
