Thumbs up A Power Fruits Sorbet or Vita-Mix "Ice Cream"

This delicious Purple Ice Cream, or Banana/Blueberry Sorbet, has 3 Power Foods and some nuts (count the nuts, per serving--1/4 cup = 4 TBS.).

If you're too cold to make it today remember this in Spring, Summer, and Fall.

I did eat this after I shot the photos. And it was delicious.

    Hey Carol!
I just did something SO similar tonight.
I stumbled on a recipe for a PB/Banana based one, added some cocoa nibs and nutmeg, delicious!

Hmmm... Maybe the fact that I DIDN'T LINK IT, Quinny!

So sorry...I was making it purple, but didn't follow through.

Please look at it again. Thanks, Q.

    Yours sounds delicious, Chelly!

Could this be made with just FF milk??? I don't use soy anything, allergy. Would it be considered SFT or would points need to be counted?

Yes, Mickee...use any liquid you like. FF milk or any kind of juice (I used to use Cranberry Juice Light which had 40 calories per cup, which for 1/4 cup = 10 calories. And there are at least 4 cups of "ice cream", so the juice would be 0-points.)

The 4 TBS. raw unsalted nuts...1 TBS. walnuts (chose that because they're raw, unsalted) = 1 point.

I didn't measure how many cups I got from this recipe (I'll have to do that!), but you could guess that it will be about 1-pt per serving if you get 4 cups. If you get more than 4 cups, it would be less...

    This is SFT + 1.

Or, you could make it without nuts. It gives the "ice cream" a wonderful richness, I think.
