    Red face Mo: ---> beer <---

    Drinking beer doesn't make you fat, It makes you lean....

    ============================================

    Any suggestions for some low point/high taste beer?

    I bought some Sam Adams Light a while back thinking it was a point/bottle. It turned out to be 2pts and the taste was so-so. I'm thinking I may just go with a regular tastey brew and deal with the extra points.

    I have a St. Patty's Day party coming up and I want to plan ahead.

    HD - I've tried many different low point/fat/calorie beers, and just haven't had any that have "done it" for me. I don't drink a lot, so I take the approach that if I'm going to have a beer, then I'm going to have one that I enjoy, and I deal with the points. JMHO! Enjoy what you drink, because you have to account for it!

    Scotch on the rocks. It is fat free and if you do it right it lasts longer than a beer.

    Welcome back CW!

    I'm ususally a Crown & Coke (zero) guy, but my ancestry is German so I must have beer occasionally in order to live!

    I guess since a St. Patty's Day party (after next week's WI) I will probably go with Guinness. I'll have to see if I can find a handy point/beer reference guide somewhere.
    Of course that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
