Thumbs up Tip For Great-Tasting Home-cooked Beans

I just read this recently from Lorna Sass...and it's a GREAT tip!

I add some cinammon and ground cloves to my dried beans and water before cooking.

It imparts a wonderful flavor to the beans!

Is that with just the plain beans? I mean not with other ingredients as a complete receipe?

Yeah. When you're cooking dried beans. Just to have cooked beans around. Or to have cooked beans to add to a recipe~
