    Default String Cheese

In the Week 1 book, it states that any type of hard cheese counts as a dairy serving. Does string cheese fall into this? Can I count it as one of my milk servings?

I don't have the Nutritional Information on the cheese stick, but it's labeled as "Light", which I take to mean low fat.

It takes 1.5oz of light cheese to equal a milk serving. Most of the light string cheese sticks I've seen are an ounce or less. It takes 1.5 of my brand to equal a milk serving.

Thanks for pointing that out. I think one stick of my brand is 1oz too. I appreciate your time!
