You can look it up at quiznos.com ... click on the sammies, then "show nutrition info," then the nutrition info. for the flavor of your choice. They even break it down with and without dressing and cheese.

They look pretty cool. The "200 calorie" ones are probably 4 Points.

Looks like Quiznos is finally responding to Subway's lowfat sandwich options. Not a bad idea since Subway got rid of their low-point wrap.

..except I just noticed that they apparently assume customers will think one is not enough. A Sammie combo has TWO of them.

    Nancy...
I like that you give people the tools to find the answers. It really makes more sense.

If you have one, let us know how it is. I was thinking about trying them myself. I don't eat our often but on days I don't feel like packing a lunch, it's nice to know these things are available at "fast food" places.

I haven't had one but my dh did today and he said that they are very good. He had the steak one and the chicken one.

    enjoy!

I had the Alpine Chicken and it was scrumptious. They have the NI on their website. The Alpine was 200 calories, 6 g Fat and 1 g Fiber = 4 points. Lean Cuisine just debut their flatbread sandwiches and they are good too! The chophouse steak, while good was 7 points!

The ones with the FF Balsamic sound like they'd be great, but the chicken and the turkey can have up to 18 grams of fat and over 300 calories with the dressing and/or the cheese. That'd be 7 points for it.

They just opened up a Quiznos a mile away. I think the Balsamic ones would be a good alternative to a burger. Not a tremendous difference in points (4 points compared to 6) but a big difference in fat content. And, if I could stop and get a burger without getting fries, I probably wouldn't need to be here LOL!

How big are these sammies? They don't look that big on the Quizno's website. I'm scared of going in and getting it, and then it not being more than a few bites.

A small sandwich @ Quizno's is 4 inches, so smaller than a 6 inch Subway sandwich. My favorite is still Firehouse subs!!

The "Sammies" are not subs. They are a new sandwich product served on a flatbread. They can't be very big for 200 calories total. (They are pretty much all around 200 cal. / 4 pt. without cheese and dressing, but there are 2 featured ones that are around 200 cal. with dressing included.)

(I know "sammie" is emerging as a synonym for "sandwich" but that's not what we mean here.)

You don't get much for 200 calories, not enough to call it a meal. They are for snacks and that is too many points in my plan for a snack.

If you are into small meals, or snacks that contain protein, one of these might fit the bill nicely. My typical allowance for lunch is 4-6 Points and these would fit right in, though probably not by themselves. I would want a side salad or the like.

I guess it remains to be seen how good they are or how well they work.

I had the Balsamic chicken sammie for lunch today and yes, it is very small. That being said it was quite tasty and I would most likely get one again but not just the sammie alone, it would not be filling enough! I paired mine with a salad and had baked lays chips with it.

Thanks for the review Dee. I think I'll try one the next time I'm looking for a lunch out.
