    Default Applebee's Point Question

I met my wife for lunch at Applebee's, I got a WW meal and she got the Grilled Shrimp 'N Spinach Salad. I know they don't give NI, but can someone give me a rough estimate on the points for this? She didn't use the bacon vinagrette or get almonds, instead she used their light ranch. Everything else was the same.

    Thanks for any help

While I probably could make a fairly decent guess on your wife's meal, I think it's more important for you to take a stab at doing it yourself. You should have all of the tools necessary (the same ones I'd have). Since Applebee's doesn't provide the ni for this menu item, your best bet is probably to break it down by the ingredients and estimate the points that way. You can use your WWer materials, or if you don't have access to them, a great site for ni is:

Applebees grilled shrimp skewer salad is 4 points (some say 3). I can't imagine your wife's salad was much higher (that doesn't inc. the dressing which was probably 2-3 points).

I used Dottie's weight loss zone (www.dwlz.com) which lists points for many resturants.

You did not indicate if you ordered the 1/2 size or full size which may just change the number of shrimp in the meal.
This salad contains spinach, diced tomatoes, roasted peppers, red onions, all of which are 0 points
Since your wife did not have either the almonds or vinaigrette - 0 points
    TO BE COUNTED -
It also contains bacon pieces.....which will have a point value based on size of the order and whether it was real bacon or the bits you can buy
1 slice of bacon is 1 point
Shrimp - Number determined by order size (2 oz is 1 point)
Light Ranch dressing - based on amount - 2 tbsp calorie reduced - 2 points
    Hope that helps.

Thank you very much, I don't have access to eTools since I am lifetime and I didn't know about Calorie King, so thanks for that.

Sometimes the points are not correct on this site, so just be aware.
