Thread: Low sodium Frozen Entrees?

    Default Low sodium Frozen Entrees?

Hi. I love frozen entrees...Lean cuisuine, Smart ones, michelina's..etc..etc. They all seem to be very high in sodium. Has anyone ever heard of or seen low sodium frozen dinners/entree's? If not, any suggestions about eating the entree's? Lots of water, not 2 days before weigh in, only one a day for example? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

If you can't avoid them lots of water and exercise should help negate the negative effects.

Avoid them like the plague. Cook extra for dinner and make your own entrees.

Thanks everyone!! I think I may have one once in a while for something I really have a taste for...but the entree has a lesser point value (example lasagna). Thanks again!!

The Healthy Choice entrees seem to have less sodium than most. Many of them also have WW points on them for when you are shopping. I do keep one or two in my freezer "just in case."

I think sodium causes water retention in some people worse than others. I've eaten Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones ever since I've started WW and I've lost almost 75 lbs in the last year. Maybe the sodium just doesn't bother me?
