Default Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast - 6.5 points

I altered a recipe I got from a friend yesterday and made it more WW friendly!

    Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast
    2 large eggs (3.5 points)
    1/3 c. skim milk (0.5 points)
    1/4 c. vanilla DaVinci syrup (0 points)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon (0 points)
4 slices Nature's Own Light Bread (2.5 points)

    Extras
    1/4 c. SF Mrs. Butterworth's Maple Syrup(0.5 points)
    1/8 c. frozen blueberries (0 points)

NOTE: Substituting with EggBeaters, different brands of bread or different brands of maple syrup will change the point value of this meal, so make sure you do your own calculations if you change anything!

Whip eggs with mixer. Mix in milk, syrup and cinnamon. Heat skillet to medium to medium-high heat and spray with non-stick or Pam. Soak front and back of bread with egg mixture and cook til a golden brown! Enjoy!

    Total: 6.5 points

I had this for dinner tonight and I am STUFFED!!!!

Thanks for the changes Sandy. 6.5 is a lot of breakfast points for me (I only get 19) but 3.5 is defiantely doable! Can't wait to try this! Do you think it would be good with ww bread? It's all I have on hand

    chefbna,

I think Sandy wrote "5.5", rather than 3.5 (at least with the add-ins). Sorry to be the bearer of bad/sad news.

I've made a similar recipe, but used ICBINB spray. That saves 1 point.

And, 1/4 c. of syrup is really quite a bit. You might find that you would be happy with less.

Man, after seeing that picture, I need to make it again!!
