Thread: Points slider or book?

    Default Points slider or book?

    Hi--
I would like to know if it is better to use the points slider to calculate points or the food guide book? I purchased some turkey that lists its nutrition facts as:60 cal, 0.5g of fat and 0 fiber for 2 ounces, which would make it 1 point. In the food guide, an ounce of turkey is 1 point, which means a serving of this product would be 2 points. Not quite sure which to use. Thanks

It's always better to go by the nutritional information if you have it, and use your slider. The information in the book is sometimes generic, and if it's for a specific brand, it still might not be correct if the manufacturer has made changes and the book hasn't been updated.

Always go by the Nurt info on the package. They do change to.
