    Default Turkey Sausage

I found this surfing today and ran it through the recipe builder on the WW site. The original recipe said you could replace the dried apples with 1/2 cup fresh diced apples, but wasn't as good. I forgot to add that. It says only 1 pt per serving. I haven't made it yet, but plan too.

    Turkey Sausage
    POINTS® value | 1
    Servings | 8

    Breakfast |

8 oz uncooked ground turkey breast
    1/4 cup onion(s)
    1/4 cup dried apple(s)
    1 item egg white(s)
3 Tbsp quick cooking rolled oats
    2 Tbsp parsley
    1/2 tsp table salt
    1/2 tsp dried sage
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Lightly coat a 10" skillet with cooking spray. Set aside. Place 3 -4 paper towels on another plate and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the onion, apples, egg white, oats, parsley and all spices. Add the ground turkey and mix well. Shape mixture into 8 2" patties. Pre--heat skillet over medium heat. Place patties in skillet. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until completely done. Transfer patties to paper towels to absorb excess grease. transfer to serving plates and enjoy.
