Michelle - great idea with the weights!
Funny story - I finally dug my weights out of the closet a week ago. They've been sitting in our bedroom and I used them ONCE. So today I brought them down to the living room...so I'd see them more often and hopefully it'll encourage me to use them more often!!! I'm watching the National Lampoons Vacation movies! First I watched Vegas Vacation and now I'm watching Vacation. Next on the list European Vacation and saving the best for last...............CHRISTMAS VACATION! Thinking of taking a break after this one though and popping in a work out dvd!! How are the rest of you ladies doing today??

Mornin ladies! I've been really busy taking my kiddos to appts left n right but I'm still doing great op wise! I'm on day 5 of being OP and am really looking forward to Saturday's w/i. I've been walking everyday but have yet to do anything else. I guess gradually bringing everything back is okay...maybe start by doing the Taebo at least 2 times a week will be a start. I was a little disappointed yesterday when I stopped at Starbucks...I asked for the skinny pumpkin spice latte and the lady said okay..I drank about 3/4 of it and gave the rest to dd. Well, when I came home to look up the pts thinking it would be 2 like most skinny latte's to my surprise they don't even have a sugar free pumpkin spice so how could she have said okay?? I was furious but I didn't let that mess up my night...I ate a filling sandwich with carrot sticks and stuck to my pts.
Jenn-That's a good idea to bring your weights out...I should do the same with all my workout stuff. Sound like you had an enjoyable but relaxing day off. Michelle-good job on getting all that walking in!! What made you want to lower your goal wt if you don't mind me asking? I bet you look great either way...KUTGW!!! Check back in later!

Hi ladies! I'm done with work and getting ready to go to my yearly gyno appointment.......ughh..I'm dreading it like you would not believe. It's a new place, since DH and I have moved since the last time I had to go..but I'm stil going to Planned Parenthood. My last set of doctors there were SO rude. I had one of them come out and ask me if I realized I was fat?!!!!!!! It took a lot for me to say HEY I'm doing WW and have lost 20lbs (at the time that was the position I was in.) They can just be VERY rude - doesn't exactly make for a comfortable appointment. So please, wish me luck. lol I need it!!
Mercedes - WTG being OP and getting all of that walking in. I love Taebo. Mostly because I can FEEL it working!! I haven't done it in so long though. I can't wait to hear how your WI on Saturday goes!! How are the rest of you ladies doing today? WW wise - I'm feeling OP and GOOD!!!

Jenn-How rude of those dumb doctors...some people can be so stupid at times!! With my sarcasm I would of really let them have it!! Well, I hope your appt went well...I know how dreadful yearly paps can be.
I just came back from taking my dd (4) and dd (3) to get their immunizations and my 4 yr old got stuck with 4 shots and she is NOT a happy camper right now..luckily my 3 yr old only got one. We came to my parents house to eat some homemade soup (caldo de res) but now I just have to figure out how to calculate the pts. It's a clear base soup with veggies, potatoes n beef. Maybe I can google it and see what I come up with. How are the rest of you buddies doing this evening?

Mornin!! I can't believe how fast the week went by and my first w/i back is already tomorrow. I've been walking every morning and did taebo last night. It's been awhile since doing taebo and it really kicked my butt. I don't have any big plans this weekend except my friends dd's birthday party at a pizza place. I still have about 30 of my weeklies left so I'll be good. I had another NSV this morning....df wanted to go out to eat for breakfast at this mexican place and all I got was a diet coke, lol. I just couldn't see myself wasting a ton of points...I ended up eating a fiber 1 bar afterwards. I know that's not a complete breakfast or the healthiest but I rather have that than some high pt greasy food. Well, I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and check in when ya'll get a chance.

Where are all my ladies at?? Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Well, I lost 6 lbs my first week back!!! I know usually we have a bigger loss the first week back but I really did push hard and journal to a T so I feel that I deserve it!

I'm finally re-committing in full this week, I had 2 weeks of hell and I can't keep myself from my goals. Any plans this weekend? I'm heading off to the grocery store soon to fill up my fridge with good things.

Good morning! We've been having a slow thread lately and hopefully it's just because some of you buddies have been busy and not off plan. If anyone is struggling you know you can come in here and we will help you get through this. We can all do this together!! Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm trying to prepare myself early and collect as many healthy recipe's as I can. We usually gather at my parents house and each of us brings a side and usually a dessert. I want to bring something a lil more exciting than just my usual greenbean casserole and ww pumpkin pie which may I add that I don't really like all that much, lol. Well, I hope you buddies are having a great Monday...I know Monday's are not everyone's favorite day.![]() Be back later to post some more.

Just popping in quickly ladies. I was out of town Friday - Sunday , so I didn't have a chance to post then. Today I fell off the wagon after a great weekend. It's VERY disappointing. I feel so gross and guilty. PLEASE pass some motivation my way for tomorrow when I give this another try!

I'm going to pick up a book tomorrow. I'm just overall.. REALLY confused with all the fake food and why I'm so into sugary foods. Fake foods don't leave me satisfied, so I'm thinking I need to read into it and I'm going to pick up a overeaters workbook to help me out as well, to see why I'm craving these things... I'll need your help too buddies. One step at a time.

Michelle - when you say "fake foods" what exactly do you mean? I find that I'm addicted to crap food at times. I crave crap from restaurants. I HATE IT. I don't really crave fast food anymore, thank goodness - but sometimes I just crave a good dinner out.
I ended today OP. Thank goodness - after yesterdays mess up. I'm afraid to get on the scale tomorrow morning though.

Jenn, I mean like... 100 cal packs, things with Splenda.
Food that's been engineered to have less calories, less fat, I find it's made me crave more sugars? So starting tomorrow I'm going to get some help.

I'm back to say that I have been fully OP today.
My first item of the day was to purchase this book; http://www.amazon.ca/Binge-Eating-Co...7978418&sr=8-2 The exercises have made me realize that my hunger was purely emotional and can only be controlled on my behalf. I did VERY well without over eating, I'm focusing slowly on simply NOT overeating/binge eating and I will get back on the WW wagon on Saturday. I'm just really happy I found this book. I hope everyone had a nice holiday. Jenn - how did your WI go?

Morning! I can't believe it's already Thursday....boy this week sped by. I find myself anxious for Saturday's now cos that is my w/i day..don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. Anyhow, I've been doing great ww wise and getting in all my 9's except for a few days that I lack the healthy oils.
I really need to get on that! Well, I'm off to take my kiddos for their routine check up. BBLMichelle-It's very hard to stay away from those 100 cal packs but I've succeeded. They really don't fill you up and it's just a waste of pts IMO. I rather eat some celery with peanut butter or whatever pc of fruit and that fills me up for less pts. I do find myself eating alot of those skinny cow bars or ww ones but their just so good and for only a pt. Tell me how the book is.....and by the way...whatever struggles you have with ww's I still find you to be very inspiring and you've come a long way buddy!![]() Jenn-how did your w/i go? Let us help you with your struggles girlie, we're here for you!! I know all too well how hard it can be but were both back here and back on ww's and that's what counts. I too love to eat out but lately I've been trying to stay away from that. I do love to frequent Subway though....I love their low fat buffalo chicken sandwhich! If you need anything just let us know. Mercedes - That's awesome that you're really doing great with all the Healthy 9s. I also have problems with the oils though. I use it to cook sometimes, other times I find it ruins how I cook things so I just drizzle it over my food when it's prepared.
And thank you very much for the support. The book has been amazing so far. I find that I gave up the 100 cal packs, but it was like the 100 cal ice creams and frozen dessert bars I had huge huge huge problems with. They would make me have a sugar rush and crash so quickly that I would be hungry mins after, craving more.

Where are all my buddies at??
I lost a lb this morning...not what I expected but a lb is a lb. I'm going on to my 3rd week of being OP and I couldn't have been any happier. I'm more active than I've been in such a long time and eating tons of veggies and fruits. Surprisingly I have already lost 2 in. off my waist which is astonishing. Well, I hope you ladies have a great weekend!!!!

Mercedes - I only lost a lb too, but like you said 1lb is at least a lb! And you should TOTALLY be happy about 2 INCHES off your waist since you've been OP that's amazing!
Any plans this weekend?
