Can I join your group. I have been doing Core (SiFi) on and off since Core first came out. I have gained back about ten pounds due to a bunch of extra stressors this year, and need to get back on track - NOW.
Lynn, I see you bicycle A LOT. I love to bike, not near as much as you, but usually 20-40 miles a day - now that cooler days are here - I'm so missing it (live in upstate NY). What you going to do for excercise for the winter? Thanks in advance for letting me be part of your group. Judy |

Welcome Judy!!! Everybuddy is welcome here!!!! I am certainly not biking as much these days due to WORKING (I'm a school psychologist and don't work during the summer) AND the lack of daylight!
I will probably continue to ride on my trainer through the winter, ride outside whenever I can, take spin classes and use the Expresso Fitness bikes at my gym. All of that is BIKING in various forms !Besides that, I will probably run. I also teach a high intensity water fitness class two mornings per week. Sometimes I will "just" walk. I also have some workout DVDs I got into last winter--biggest loser, 30 Day shred, and a "step" one... Oh, and I have a bunch of PT exercises that are largely about my upper body and core that I do regularly, including 100 push ups and balancing on a stability ball on just my knees !I exercise every day...in the summer it was MOSTLY cycling, but I do have a variety of other things I do. Again, WELCOME!!!!! Another SiFi cyclist! YAY!

not the usual kind of 'exercise' - but i did crawl through tunnels & slides for 30 mins today with a friend's 4 yr old. Couldn't have done it a year ago - there were some pretty tight gaps to get through!

I'd love to say I excersise too. Unfortunatly, I'm not excersizing right now. I'm sooooooo busy taking care of all of my kids and have to get house clean done! It's a never ending job!
I'm looking for a good babysitter so I can get out of my house and do at least some excersise. I used to walk in the park for 45 minutes and 80 push ups! I felt great back then!

Lily, activity isn't just exercise! It is ANYTHING you do that's active, so things like housework can count, if they are hard work! Also things like dancing, or playing with the kids, or exercise videos, yardwork....

Did get in 20 miles on my bike. Was only 40 degrees, but no wind. So dressed warm and was very enjoyable - not many days left before snow to ride my bike.
