Applebees Shrimp Skewer Salad

Hello All,

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I have something nice to say about Applebee's! Today I had the Shrimp Skewer Salad without the salad dressing. It was EXCELLENT. Two skewers 6 large shrimp on each, dark greens, onions, snap peas and tomatoes. It was really great.

The salad is 4 pts.

I just got my $20.00 gift certificate so I am thinking of heading there Sat for lunch. Was this off the WW menu they have. Please tell how you used your points there.

The Shrimp Skewer Salad is indeed on the WW menu at Applebee's. It is 4 points with the salad dressing they serve. I just chose to go with balsamic vinegar and a touch of oil.

I had this salad a while ago and I found it to be rather bland - but I'm a creamy dressing gal. Although I have to say that the shrimp was cooked perfectly!

My bet friend and I usually order it and we split it between us then we order one of the ww entrees. Personally...I love this salad.

Oooh, I love this salad, too! Another fave is the teryaki (sp?) shrimp skewers on a bed of rice with steamed veggies. Mmmm...
