Default Chicken Tortilla Soup - Tried and True

I took this to work today for Souper Monday, and everyone was asking for the recipe. And not to brag too much, but my soup was almost gone, while the others were not! LOL

    32 oz. chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
4 chicken breasts, shredded (I cooked mine in the crockpot with salsa, like the salsa chicken recipe…or you can use a rotisserie chicken from the deli)
2 anaheim or serrano chilies, diced
    1 jalapeno pepper, diced
    1/2 cup diced onions
    3-4 large tomatoes, diced
    2-4 garlic cloves, minced
    2 tablespoons minced cilantro
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    2 teaspoons cumin
    2 teaspoons pepper
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons hot sauce

    Garnish:
Shredded ff or soy cheddar cheese
    FF sour cream
    Avoado, chopped
    Chopped cilantro
    Lime, cut into wedges
Crushed tortilla chips (count if you use, but just a little add some great flavor so use if you can afford to!)

Ř Throw everything (well, not the garnishes) in your crockpot and let it cook on high for 5-6 hours.
Ř Dress with garnishes and give it a squeeze of lime (a must!!!!).

Wow! I made this tonight. It makes about 10 - 11 cups. I didn't measure the hot sauce and just eyeballed it. It's a good thing I like HOT food I went a little overboard. The soup is deeeeelish.
