Anyone else like games? Any kind of games.

Computer gaming is one of my hobbies. I've been getting into RPGs (Role Playing Games) for the past couple of years. Diablo, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc... FPS (First Person Shooters) are always a good time too. Nothing like blowing away a few bad guys to relieve some stress. I played them all back in the day, but the only one I've really enjoyed lately is Doom3. That is one creepy game.

I'm also into some real life RPGs too. Dungeons & Dragons, etc... (Yes, I know that I'm a geek) :p I haven't played too much lately, but I still buy an occasional book just for fun.

How about you?
Poker? Monopoly? Tiddely-winks?
(Just trying to stir up some activity here)

My wife and I love games. We love a game called pegs and jokers. Taught to us by her father. As well as a game with Dominoes called Chicken foot. But our favorite is Uno Attack. We're also into different card games.

Hey, I love Risk II as far as strategy.

On the FPS, it is Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament 2004!!!!

Anyone ever hear of a game called BLOKUS? My wife came home from Minneapolis with it. She found it at the Mall of America. Each player has a set of tiles . Square tiles connected some T shaped Some U shaped etc. They are configured in 21 different ways. A player starts by laying a piece in the corner of the board. You can only lay your pieces so just corners touch of your own colored pieces. Whoever gets rid of his pieces first wins. We haven't played it yet. I know Diane will KILL me in it. But she also bought me an Elvis trivia game, the problem with that is no one will play with me cuz they know they'll lose.

Todd - I like FPS... the best, but I also like FPS-RPG hybrids. My favorite was Deus Ex - A FPS that had a serious plot and RPG-like decisions. It's now pretty old and a guy I loaned it to in college I never heard from again.

I like games, but the money to keep a computer up to the standard many new games require, and the time involved combine to keep me from playing.

I usually play games that are old enough to have come down in price and not require my wimpy computer to do too much.

I used to play RPG's in Junior High, but no one wanted to play in high school, and I never really had the time in college. I guess the same still is true.

My wife and I play cards and some board games together and with friends. We like Sequence, Tri-bond, and Cranium.
