Let's see....exercise stats for the treadmill: 5.1 hrs total / 19 miles. :walking:
GOOD GOING LADIES!
Kelly, I'm especially proud of you. You had a rough week and pulled through with flying...no not flying...SOARING colors! Way to go!

Thank you very much! Yes...I did have a rather rough week, but this time was different...I didn't turn to food like I normally would have done. I wanted to, but I knew I'd get an earful from you guys if I did! Plus, I didn't want to go off program....it's important enough to me to keep going :)
Thanks once again for all of your support ladies! I really could NOT do this without you....I'm one of those people who needs people, like all the time, I hate to be alone....and you guys are always there! Yay for me!
Here's to an OP week!!! :weights:
And hopefully I'll get my part that was missing for the elliptical trainer in the mail soon so I can GET MOVING! :work_out:
WTG on your loss Trish! WOOO HOOO....
We all did a GREAT job...but I think you'll all agree when I say that DONNA was our "biggest loser" this week.....WTG Donna!!

Thanks Kelly...did you get my PM I sent you yesterday after you PM'd me? Just wondering because I didn't hear back from you.
WTG!!!! Trish. You did great. And you did great with your walking too.
OK, looks like another busy day for me. I have to get to Curves and then clean house and get a shower before Stephen gets home. Then go over to school to get other ds and then dinner. I hate to think about it all. I won't be around tomorrow because ds has CCD in the morning and then DH took to the day off so we could spend our anniversary together. I will try to check in on you guys on Sun. I hope you all have a great couple of OP days. You are all doing so great. Keep up the good work! Hugs,

Congratulations "Birds"! We are soaring now so let's keep it up. :jump_jack I fairly successfully got through another of my famous family birthday parties last night. For those who don't know, we have a LOT of birthdays and we celebrate each and every one. Great fun but oh so hard on the waistline. I'm learning though so that's a good thing.
Trish I have all my winter feeding stations in place now. 10 of them! I recently bought a feeder that holds 8#'s of seed to help reduce the amount of times the feeders need filling while I'm away. I estimate with 10 feeders including the 8#er my family won't need to refill more often than 10 - 14 days. I've put out hulled sunflower seed, shelled peanuts, thistle seed, mixed wild bird seed, suet and black oil sunflower seed bells. The humming birds are still getting their nectar from the fuschia bushes and the array of fall blooming perennials so I won't put out the humming bird feeders until I get back. We are getting small flocks coming in regularly all day and the Canada Geese are flying formation daily past the back of our house. The honking when they pass is getting louder and louder indicating they are almost ready to venture south. I love the way the Chickadees and Nuthatches take a sunflower seeds and tuck them into the bark of the fir trees to stock pile for winter. How they find all these treasures later is a mystery.
Time to finish up the last minute details before getting into the "dreaded packing" How I hate packing and unpacking. But first I need to finish the laundry and ironing.

I'm not sure if I'll have time to get back to post before I leave on Sunday morning. I'll probably be off line for about 5 days, less if I'm hooked up early at which time I'll be able to post again during my trip. The no scale access is going to be a challenge for this "weigh myself every day" gal but I think it will be good for me to not depend so much on the numbers. If I feel I'm getting into trouble without a scale however, I'll just go out and buy one to have with me. I'm taking along a pair of snug capris as a gauge to how I'm doing. My goal is to come home with them fitting loose which will equate to approximately 10#'s. My plan is to walk every day :work_out: ,ride my bike a lot :bike: and drink water :water1: . I'll keep you posted as to minutes walked and ridden an even water drank in leu of a weekly weigh-in. Wish me luck because this isn't my usual plan for this "snow bird". This time it will be different.

Good luck Hatch---I KNOW you can do it! And if you are so worried about not having a scale...why don't you go pick up an inexpensive one to take with you?
I will be thinking of you while you are not here....and sending you good vibes!
I went to the grocery store today ladies----and boy am I proud of myself!! I bought the usual crap for my family-excluding me-but I bought some really good low fat high fiber stuff for me....fruits, veggies, breads, low-fat cheese, high fiber cereal....brown rice, whole wheat pasta, beans...YUM...I am learning to LOVE all this stuff! With just the right seasonings, these things are really very good.....and the breads! The breads are sooooo much more flavorful than your average white bread!! I am actually liking this stuff.....and HERE is the best part of me being on WW.....
You ready?
You ready for this?
Are you reallllyyyyy sure???
OK.....here goes.......
Today, and for the last few days I have been PMSing...TOM is right around the corner....so, naturally I've been a major b*tch to my hubby.....so of course he's not real happy with me at this present time! So we've been in on and off arguments for a few days now.....including today....and out of the blue he says.......
here we go....
Your butt looks smaller!!!!!!
WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!
It's already starting to pay off!
I am so happy
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Well I havent been here since Wed. I have been rather busy, I WI on Thursday and I was down 1.6lbs Whoo. A little more than my usual but since 8/24 I am down 5.6lbs. Brought my mom to the doctor in Philly on Thurday. Left at 9:30 and got home at 7 and when I pulled up my Inlaws were there with Dunkin Donuts for the kids! Yikes. I was bad a had a small cruller.:embarrass They left around 8:15 and I so thought I would pass out but I wanted to watch the apprenctice since Randy Pinkett and I went to school together. It was kinda boring to day the least!
I woke up on the couch at 12:30! Arrhhgg.
Friday I slept in , no walking to tired. I did clean my entire 1st floor since I had neglected it with being at the hospital and all. It was bad! So I cleaned and went food shopping. I bought the Black beans to make the brownies. Can't wait to try them!
I also tried the milkshake, it was wonderful!! Well gotta run, hope all is well with everyone
Oh an d by the way, I do not remeber The banana splits? oh well I will ask my husband if he remembers! :)

Morning all,
Well, I don't know what's going on with me, but every morning this week I have been waking up at 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. The alarm doesn't go off until 6am during the week, so that's not it. Oh well, I guess I will just have to go to bed earlier.:sobbing:
Hatch- I don't know if you will get this before you go, but, I wanted to wish you luck and don't worry about that scale. The metal monster can't rule you!!!
Kelly- WTG girl!!!!! What a wonderful NSV! Your hard work is really paying off...Congrats! Thanks for the "H. A."
Dreams- Your day sounded like mine on Fri. Well, at least we both have clean houses:) ...mine won't stay that way for long :rage:
Well, the anniversary went alright...didn't do anything special, just some shopping. We had chinese for dinner last night, which was a nice treat. I made sure I saved my WPAs for the weekend cause I didn't know what DH had planned :D . Well, Hope you all have a wonderful OP Sunday and I will catch up with you tomorrow.

whew! It's been a weekend of studying studying studying (midterms this week). I think I"m permanently attached to this desk. lol My family just slipped my meals under the door. Needless to say, I haven't exercised since Thursday and I've been subject to more than the usual snack attacks. I kept them somewhatat bay, but I could have been a better bootcamper. Life will get better this week, I'm sure.
Peggy...congrats on your weightloss! 1.6 lbs is WONDERFUL!! Keep up the good work buddy.
Donna, I like your expression of the "metal monster." Never heard that name before but it is sooooo apropo.
Tonight's the season premier of Desperate Housewives. I'll be watching. Anyone else enjoy that show as well? Any Grey's Anatomy fans which also premiers tonight?

Good Morning Everyone. I haven't posted in awhile. I have been so busy. I am so tired that I can't even begin to remember the last post. It might have been Sat LOL. Anyway back to work today. Need a NAP! I am hoping that we are busy so the day goes by. I was really good this week. I walked atleast 2 miles everyday . Sun I did it 2x . Once in the morning and again at night. Saturday I walked alot at night. My neighbor and me just kept gabbing and walking. She says she wants to get up with me in the morning but we'll see. Yesterday was a challenge since Dh and I brought the boys to the boardwalk after lunch. All we got was a Soft pretzel so I had 1/2. Not sure of the pount value though. I made the Lasagne roll ups that I found on the recipe drop down here. They were really good. Dh didn't realize that is was fat free cheeses but he did notice it wasn't my sauce!
well gotta run. hoep everyone is doing well today!!!

Well, another weekend is over and done. I did good yesterday...met my point target exactly. I went to Curves this morning. Plan to get on the treadmill later, but we will see. No walking outside today...getting a major storm. I record all my favorite shows so I can watch them while on the treadmill and that makes the time go quicker...45 min. doesn't take so long when something really interesting is on the tv.
So how did everyone elses weekend go?
Peggy-it's good to see you posting. Hope you are taking care of yourself and not getting run down. Take that nap if you need to. Thanks for the review on the Lasagna roll ups...gonna have to give those a try too.
Kelly & Trish- I don't watch either show...I am a CSI girl. I love CSI, NCSI, Miami, New York, also Without a trace, Cold Case, and Numbers. I also started watching Threshold and Ghost Whisperer. I record them all and then watch while on the treadmill because I don't have the opportunity to watch in the evening and I can when the kids are in school.
Hope everyone has a great OP Monday...Let's make this one count!

Wow, where is everyone? Not posting much here today, I am heading back to bed after the kids go on the bus. I have been suffering from severe alergies and I think I may have a sinus infection to go along with it, so I am in misery. All I want to do is sleep right now. I went to bed at 5pm last night and woke up with the alarm at 6am this morning. Now I just want to go back to bed. I can't take anything for the alergies (at least anything that would help, as I need a decongestant) because I am on high blood pressure meds and the doc won't give me a script for alegra D, which is the only thing I found that works.
Well, I hope everyone has a great OP Tuesday!!!

Good Monring everyone!!!!!!!! so far having a good day. I had DH home to help get the boys ready this morning so that was a nice treat. I walked last night with my neighbor and then she brought over Home baked apple pie. I had a small peice but I was able to use some flex points. I reviewed my journal from last week and I am not utilizing my flex points like I should. I use all of my AP but not flex. Maybe I will lose more than 1lb this week. Atleast this is what I have been reading on this site. That people see more results when they eat all their Ap's and Flex. I guess it helps to use those with fruits and stuff that are better than Pie but we can't always deny oursleves the good stuff right!
I made the 1pt brownies last nite from this site. 1 Box of Brownie mix and I can black beans. They came out a bit on the heavy side. Not sure if that is correct though. I have to tell you they are good. I gave one to my husband without him knowing what was in them and he said he didn't see any difference.

Well.....I have been busy these last few days. My sister came in from out of town with her daughter and I've been spending some time with them so I haven't had any time to post! I saved up almost all of my flex points all week so I could go out to dinner with the women of my family last night! YUM!
But other than that I've been OP. I was supposed to measure my inches yesterday, but in all the fun of having my sister here I forgot....will do it tonight.
Glad everyone is doing good....I will talk to you all later!!

Well, today is WI again. It seems to me that this week went really fast. I have no clue what that metal monster is going to tell me today, but I know that I was OP all week and so it should be alright. I will let you know later.

Good Morning buddies. Today is Hump day. I got up this morning and walked and here I am at work. Got TOM last night so all those skiiny vibes I was feeling all week went right out the door. I am hoping to still see a loss tomorrow but I am feeling a bit discouraged since TOm usually brings a 2lb gain!! Does any one have any advice on losing the water weight by tomorrow!!!!!!
Kelly- Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that they came out right. Glad they did, Family loves them.

Thanks so much Kelly for the skinny vibes and the recommendation on the recipe.
I maintained at WI yesterday. Really don't know why. The only thing I can think of is that I upped my exercise last week and my hips are still hurting from it and I am retaining water. Other than that, I have no idea. I stayed well within my points and still had 12 WPAs left, so maybe I didn't eat enough. I was waking up every morning famished. The only thing I could think of was what I was having for breakfast. So maybe between the two...I don't know???
Peggy- yes drinks lots of water. It flushes out the sodium that causes you to retain water.
Take care ladies. Have a great OP day!!!

Okay here it is.......... .4 Gain:mad: I was so excited all week for wi because I felt differently. I knew that I had lost, an then there came lovely ol' TOM the day before WI :rage: . Didn't get discourage though but I wasn't going to kid myself either. I went walking in the morning and WI and only gain .4. SO I said to my self well as long as it isn't 2 lbs of water gain. So I said stay focused and next week should be a nice WI.
I have to say my attitude is different this time so send me all the hopes and wishes!!!
Action- GL on the exams!
Kelly- Can't wait to make it. Can't seem to find Lite Filling. Will keep searching!
take care everyone. Stay :strong:
