Please pray for Michelle and Tim

It's not like me to log on while I am at work but this is an urgent prayer request for my co-worker's friend Michelle and her husband Tim.

Michelle is in Hoag Memorial Hosp- she is having some brain surgery tomorrow. She has already had the top part of her skull removed and she is prepped for the surgery and had all the brain mapping done. She has violent seizures and now has settled into a deep depression - a clear sign of the enemy attacking her. The doctors now want to delay the surgery and have taken her off the seizure meds... they want her to have 2 more seizures to make sure the brain mapping is right. She is full of depression and anxiety an her husband Tim just started a new job last Friday.

Please everyone pray that all will go well with Michelle, that the depression and anxiety would leave her and that the brain mapping would be correct. And that the brain surgery would be tomorrow as scheduled and go well.
Also pray for Tim, he needs strength and peace.

Here is the update I just received from my friend:

Her surgery for today is for sure cancelled. I haven't called over there cause her family is here so I am giving them some time together. Last night when I talked to Tim he said she was trying to eat so that is good. Then I called back later and her mom said she was still trying to eat. It takes her a very long time, but at least she is eating. I don't know about the depression for Michelle but the short time I talked to Tim, he is wearing thin. Poor guy. I will call over there tonight to get an update. Since her family is now here, I feel so much better, and I sure that is helping her too!!!

I wanted to post an update on Michelle.

The surgery still hasn't been done and she is still in the hospital. Now the doctors are waiting for her to have a full direct seizure. Meanwhile, she waits with her head totally wrapped up with electrodes inserted in her brain - mind you, part of her skull has already been removed!! But she is doing great!!! She is happy and the depression has lifted, Praise GOD!!! I'm starting to think that maybe God has already healed her seizure problem since she hasn't had one in days!!! Lets all join together and believe that!! Lets Claim it in the name of Jesus!! Tim is weary going back and forth between the hospital, home and new job. Also, their finances are in trouble. Since Tim was unemployed before he took the job he was collecting unemployment - now he took a job that pays based off commission so no money is coming in. Please pray that God would supply all their financial needs as well.

Here is an update on the situation, and yes, Michelle is still in the hospital and has not had the surgery still. I am sure it is God's will that the surgery was delayed. I think Michelle and Tim need to seek and trust the Lord and not listen to ungodly council. Well, here is the update and thanks for continuing to pray.

9/20 update: A bunch of girls went to the hospital last night to pray over her. She needs to make a very hard decision, and she needs prayer for guidance. The surgeon came in yesterday to talk to them abut the surgery and there is a chance that she can loose her speech. Her and her husband are not sure what to do and are looking for the Lord to guide this decision. Her father is here and he does not want her to have the surgery he says it is too risky, however he is not a Christian, so she is trying not to let him persuade her.
If she does not have the surgery, this is it. She will live out her life having seizures and be on meds. If she does have the surgery, there is no guarantee that the seizures will stop. She could loose her speech and still have the seizures, or the seizures could be less, or possibly stop all together.

It is a very hard decision for them. I know we all can say "I know what I would do", but we don't. We are not the ones sitting in that hospital room facing this decision.

Please pray for them, pray that they can make the best decision and for God to lead.

Michelle is having the surgery tonight at 8pm. It will be a 3 hour surgery.
