I ended up going to Applebee's today for lunch, and was excited since I had only heard good things about their WW points entrees. I was disappointed though when we arrived to discover that all the low point options there contained meat. So while the menu is WW friendly it is not vegetarian friendly.

I thought the same thing. Especially since my favorite pre-ww Applebee's menu item was the veggie patch pizza (22 points).

But I asked the server and apparently the quesadillas are really made there (as opposed to being frozen), so they made them without chicken, and they added extra veggies.

I never even look at the WW menu b/c if I go to Applebees I get their salad with no bacon (I do eat eggs and cheese) and mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness...it is better than the stuff I used to get.

I do like meat but I have to tell you I went to dinner with DH and was excited because he wanted to go out and agreed to take me to Applebees. Very disapointed. The carrots were not cooked, they were hard, they looked old. The beef skewers were under cooked even after the 2nd time I asked them to cook it more. the shrimp skewer was overcooked. Honestly, I would not look forward to going back. The rice was disgusting. I hardly ever feel like I am on a diet when I eat ff or lf stuff, but this food was horrible.:ugh:

When we went to Applebee's about three weeks ago for Girls' Nite Out...I had the tillapia, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed: the veggies were numerous and delicious and well-cooked, and the fish was perfect. I'd only ever had their chicken (WW) sandwich before, which was ok, but this fish was delish!!
