"The secret to success is to know something nobody else knows." Aristotle Onasis (I think) ;)

We all know what the habits are that lead to weight gain, some my group came up with were:
Regular Pop
Late night eating
fill up at buffet (gotta get your money's worth!) :ugh:
Escalator or elevator
fast food
skip meals
eat to much at every meal
clean plate club
food as a reward
elastic waist pant
high calorie sweets/desserts
food for comfort
couch potato
do everything the easy way (the lazy way? carry as much as possible to make less trips, remote, find the closest parking spot)

Maybe you can come up with more
Take these habit and change them around, replace the bad habits with something more healthful
Regular pop = diet pop or water
Late night eating = hobby
fill up at buffet = only take what you love, no seconds
escalator, elevator = stairs
fast food = plan ahead and make healthy food
skip meals = eat regularly
Eat to much at every meal = eat until satisfied (no longer hungry, not full!!)
Clean plate club = leave stuff on your plate
Food as reward = find a replacement reward (hug someone, new clothes, talk to someone, new things for hobby, exercise equipment/tapes)
Elastic waist pants = fitted pants
High calorie desserts = low calorie desserts that are tasty
Food for comfort = hugs for comfort, cry for comfort, talk for comfort, exercise
Couch potato = Hot potato ;)
Do everything the easy way = Do not try to find the easy way, find the healthy way :D

TAke a look at the habits you have that make you gain weight and figure out what you can do to replace your habits with healthy habits.... one habit at a time of course!! ;)
