Good Morning Ruthie, and welcome to 50+.

What kind of encouragement were you seeking? Help with menu planning? Motivation to stay OP? Incentive to exercise? Need a kick to drink your water?

We can do it all........LOL.....LOL :D

I'm glad you joined us.

I'm new to 50+ also, and love the encouragement everyone gives! I need a kick to get my exercise in. Does house work count?

Read over the Week 1 book on Activity, you'll find plenty of reasons to get more Active and start earning some APs (Activity Points). :) Begins on page 52 and ends at page 57. You'll also get more info during Week 3 plus a "Points Booster" slider.

Meanwhile, this site is kind of fun to play around with:

Thanks for the welcome! I really like the way you support eachother! I WI on Tuesdays and have lost 8.4 so far. I didn't have that great of a week last week and missed my meeting. But I'm back on track and feeling better! This is a great site - I'm so excited to be a part of it!

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for your warm welcomes.

Linda, I live in Buffalo.

Sue, I exercise regularly and drink plenty of water. I need encouragement so that I stick with the eating part of the program. I have lost a very good amount of weight since 2000, but it has been a very slow process and lately I have been losing the same 10 lbs over and over again. I don't want to put back on the 60 lbs. I lost. I want to reach my goal and I want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Thanks for asking.

Ruthie,

I have lost a very good amount of weight since 2000, but it has been a very slow process and lately I have been losing the same 10 lbs over and over again. I don't want to put back on the 60 lbs. I lost. I want to reach my goal and I want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Thanks for asking.
I HEAR you buddy. I am in a similar situation, having lost 80 lbs and keeping it off for a year. Now I keep fluctuating up and down within a 10 lb range and I'm around 15 lbs over goal. It's frustrating and yet I KNOW what to do.....I just haven't done it.

This is a great place to hang out and get support.
