Good morning all,
Well, it's an early morning for me! Nathan (my 5 month old) decided that 4:30 am was the time we were getting up! He sucked down a bottle and is now wide awake and ready to play. Doesn't he know 4:30 am is still bedtime? :) At least one is still asleep.....I hate being up this early. I will probably need a nap later on today.
Thank goodness I have no other plans today. I need to do some laundry and things around the house. Just taking care of the kids for the day, and having a great eating day! I will probably watch the Superbowl later on by myself, though I wish the Pittsburgh Steelers were playing instead.
I had a problem with my garage door opener yesterday. When I got home from BJs, it would only go down about 6" and then pop back up. Luckily, my friend's husband was able to come over later on and fix it - or it just started working again. Why do those things always seem to happen when DH is out of town? :)
Well, better run before Nathan wakes Lexi up!
Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!
Take care,
Christine :D
P.S. Although only there for a little while, I enjoyed chatting last night!

Hey all....sorry I had to drop chat so quickly lastnight. Trust me, that wasn't planned. :ugh:
I want to get outside today. It's going to be a beauty of a day and I'm not staying inside. I have laundry to do but I can do that either later or tomorrow!

Good Morning everyone:
Well, it's supposed to be another beautiful day here - in the 40's. I'm definitely going out and about walking today.
Got my housework done yesterday, except for washing, which I'll do another day.
I didn't sleep all that well last night, but I'm up anyway.
Going to church at 10:30 a.m. Then, will walk to the store and get some milk, have lunch and then go for a long walk (I hope) later on.
Christine, Linda and all who follow - enjoy your day.

Good morning Buddies,
Well, it is a stressful time here. Dh had a talk with his boss/partner last night and there are problems with his job. I'm not allowed to talk about it but I would appreciate it if you could offer up a prayer or two, those who pray. I don't respond to stress well - I want to eat everything in sight! So today, after church, I'll head to the grocery store for veggies and low point snackies.
It is a gorgeous day here - a bit nippy at 34 but it is already warming up - it was 31 about a half hour ago. Our satellitel dish is still out so, shucks darn, can't watch the super bowl. Gotta hate when that happens! :D I'll spend the day doing laundry and stamping.
Happy OP Sunday,
Karen
P.S. Kitchenlabs - where in SC are you? We live in the itty bitty town of Saluda.

Good Morning Everybuddy!
I woke up at 5:30 before the alarm went off so now I can make early church!
Being my BIL's birthday, they invited me out for breakfast after church so we're going to a local place. It's a small pub and no WW friendly menu's so I'll see if I can find something I can enjoy....besides a Bloody Mary! ;)
I'll put the Super Bowl game on while I'm reading today. My dear Packers screwed up again so I hope your favorite team wins!
I enjoyed yesterday being with my DD and having her all to myself for a few hours. Her car needed brakes and I'm glad she found a good place that didn't charge her an arm and leg.
Christine, hope you get a nap in later. My kids were 11 months apart so I remember well the early morning hours, playing with one while the other slept!
Linda, sorry I couldn't get into chat. I saw you and Donna in there but couldn't see anyone posting. Thanks for the reminder to hit Safe Mode!
Ashlee, wish I could walk long distances or I'd be out walking every morning. You enjoy your day!
Karen, prayers on the way for DH and I do hope all works out for him!
Howdy to all who follow and hope everyone has a terrific day!

Good morning all, Haven't been here for at least 10 days.. time goes so fast. I ended up joining Weight Watchers live..and boy was I shocked about my weight. I weighed in at 223.4. My first week = yesterday I was down 3.6 lbs. I am very grateful for that. I was following the program since signing on line here but not as diligent. There is something for actually paying the money and going. I know I always wanted to lose the weight. I just beleive now that maybe I wasn't ready to make the life changes and really make different choices about my food. Today I am. I am committed to eating healthy and the weight is coming down. My scale is off by 10 lbs. so that was a surprise. Other than that I am truly journalling my food. Eating all my fruits and vegatables and cooking beautiful meals...It is a full time job at that.
Also I have been sleeping in till 7:45...that is a big change. I hope you all have a beautiful day today. Hope

Tig, I am in Orangeburg, not really that far. I have family in Lexington. It's beautiful here today-but then almost every day is beautiful in South Carolina!
Just put on a big crockpot of that mexican chicken soup-found the recipe at Dotti's! It's awesome! I've got tons of papers to grade...and here I am on the computer!

Good afternoon every Buddie! just finished cooking for our Super Bowl party and decided to read the daily thread. Of course, as soon as I sat down, my sweet ( not) adorable ( yes) 9 lb cat decided she wants some attention. If I don't pet her, she is rubbing against my key board-- you should see what my post looks like, have to keep going back and erasing lines of letters LOL. Any way, I'm really excited that my PATRIOTS made it again. I sure hope they win tonight.
My house smells great right now, meatballs, and chicken wings in crockpots cooking away.. I searched out 1.5 point chicken wings ( instead of 3 pts!) so DD is thrilled-- what's superbowl without wings?? and I made FF salsa so DH will have something to dip his veggies in. Ok, enough already.. Hope everyone has a safe, happy and OP Super Bowl Sunday, whether you watch it or not.
Karen, my prayers are with you and DH. Hope things get better fast. In the mean time, reach for those veggies quick.
