DH is on a case but has to go back to work today and tommorw. He'll be in court Monday morning bright and early!
I need to ease up on the fiber...any guesses why??? :ugh: I'm killing everyone in the house including myself!
Speaking of fiber....naure calls! Later!

Good morning everyone,
Hi there - it is almost the end of the week! I lost another pound this morning - hooray!
DH is off to Spain today - but only for 5 days or so, so that is good. I hate those long trips where he can be gone for weeks at a time. This one will be short, but enough for him to earn some overtime over the weekend. :)
I had a weird dream last night - that I was dating Simon Cowell from American Idol! Weird, huh? It kind of freaked me out......:)
Well, I hope that everyone has a great Thursday!
Linda - Good job on the exercise! I know what you mean about the fiber! :D
Take care,
Christine :D

Morning buddies
Its another dry start to the day here in the S.E. of England with temps of 10c/50f and over night of 2c/35f. Forecast is colder weather over the weekend!!
I slept in this morning as I'm at home today as DD still has cold and didn't have a great night!! I'm feeling better so hopefully I can catch up with all the housework today as I've got work tomorrow. Yesterday was ok, a bit boring sometimes but still trying to work things out, once I'm use to it all I think it will be better. I didn't really have butterflys in my stomach once I got there so that was ok.
I've got a few things to sort out today so I'll be popping in a few times to see how everyone is getting on. Also got some homework to do for college too!!
:D  :bcbsalute

Caroline I hope your DD feels better soon.
Can anyone help me with the icons??? When I was on the old boot camp buddies a year ago it was an easy insert. Now I cannot figure how how to put them in the posts.

Goooooooood Moooooooooorning!!
I've got a few minutes before I have to head out the door so here I am! Pray for me today!! I've got a 81 yr old man with a permanent catheter today and I haven't had to deal with those for a long time. The regular girl is out sick so I'm taking over for her today. I can't imagine having a permanent catheter! I had one in for my surgery and as soon as I was awake I made them take that midevil device out!:help: The house is turning into a disaster zone with me working so it's time to lay down the law around here.
Linda..have a happy, pootery day!:p
Christine.. I use to hate those days of being alone for that long. Now I kinda like it. LOL At least you have those adorable babies to keep you busy.
Caroline.. you people need some Vitamin C! Have you guys tried Cold Eeze? It's got zinc in it and it helps kick colds faster, tastes horrible tho.
Dawn.. you should just be able to click on the icons to the left of your reply box.
Jan.. I'm working for an agency that comes into peoples homes to help them out so they don't have to go to convelecent. I was a nurses aid a lifetime ago so I've done it before. We cook, change depends, bathe them etc..
Ok Buddies, I'm out of here! Have a great day!!:buddysmoo

Morning Buddies!
Today is w/i for me, I am, of course, hoping for a loss, if there is one it will probably be smaller, but I will be happy with any loss at all. I have been good about working out and my eating so I at least know that I have faithfully stayed OP this week.
Today is DH's big interview at Nissan. I sure hope it goes well, this would really open the doors for him for new and better opportunities.
Other than that my life has been pretty boring, I wish I had something fun and exciting to share with you all.
Happy Thursday!

Good Morning everyone
Well, it's 18F here and supposed to be a nice, mild day. I'll be walking to work later and probably walking home too.
WW. yesterday - lost .4 lb. - not much, but better than a gain. It was so funny - 4 of us lost either .2 or .4 yesterday!
I had a tiring day yesterday - walked to WW., then met my financial person (she goes to WW. too). We had soup and coffee together, then I spent 2 hours with her in her office. Didn't get home till almost 3 p.m. It was a productive meeting, which was good!
Linda - Fiber - yes it's important, but I can't eat too much of it or the bathroom becomes my "best friend" The person I mentioned who I met yesterday after WW., has a granddaughter in public school. The mother had to take her to the hospital yesterday morning, all because of constipation so guess it can work against and for you!
Caroline - Glad your job is going well. I know that boredom is an issue lots of times. That's why I like my 1/2 days.
Chris - That sounds like our Home Care. I would not be good at it. Hope your day goes well.
Abby - Good luck at weigh in and good luck to DH. with his interview.
Christine - Way to go - 1 lb. down is great :)
I will check in later tonight probably.
Skinny vibes to all.
Ashlee :walking: (will walk to and from work later this morning)

Hi Buddies!
I Really don't like being unable to exercise!! It drives me crazy. And I don't seem to be able to do anything good with the extra time, I just park myself in front of the TV!! :rage: I think I need to make a plan for things to do if I can't exercise next week.
Tonight I'll be singing with the band, so I look forward to that. DH has promised to make me dinner too, so I can stay a little longer at work. I haven't been in as early as usual in the mornings, so I need to make up for that.
Have a great day all!

Good Morning Buddies!
It's a chilly one today, only 42, but the sun is shining so it's a beautiful day!
I piddled around yesterday, doing odds and ends jobs and last night, put on the music channel and just read. I put on Soundscapes and it's like elevator music but very soothing and nice background music for reading!
I'm tempted to do my own taxes this year. Has anyone done them online and if so, which site did you use? Since selling my home, I get clobbered with taxes as my filing status is just Single and I file the short form.
Linda, wish fiber helped me more. I think I need dynamite!
Christine, wtg on another lb gone forever! Funny what we dream, isn't it?
Caroline, enjoy your day off. Will you be working part-time at your new job?
Dawn, I think you have to go into User CP at the very top of this site and maybe chose Edit Options, scroll to Thread Display Options and click on Show Images. Hope that's the right one and then just click on a smilie when you post. Buddies? Is this the right one? Good luck Dawn!
Chris, you're an :angel doing that kind of work! Gosh, all the blessings you receive! I would love to do volunteer work but I couldn't do anything except read or just listen to people talk. Couldn't handle depends or any personal duties. Kudos to you!
Abby, good luck at w/i today and hope DH gets that job!
Ashlee, .4 is good and the scale is definitely going in the right direction!
Hanna, hang in there and your restriction won't be forever. Some times our bodies need that rest. Wish we could hear you sing!
Howdy to all buddies who follow and hope everyone has a super nice day!

Jan I think you're on the right track but it's not that option. I just went into my cp and unclicked show images and still had the smiles on my right.
I'll play around with it and see what I can find.

Ok....Check out Edit Signature and way down at the bottom there's something called Posting Rules. "Smiles" should be clicked "on".
Maybe that's it?????

Dawn, go to user CP, then edit options on the left. Scroll down to miscellaneous options and set it on enhanced interface. I think that will do it for you.

Hi there! I'm like Dawn, couldn't use these cute icons, so thank for asking the question, and for those that helped her. Now I'm going to give this a try for fun:headover:
HaHa - I love these guys!
Have been staying on plan this week except for today when I had homemade macaroni and cheese for supper! Need to count my points there. It was sure worth it. I got 3 workouts at Curves done this week, and one workout on the treadmill. My goal is 3 of each workouts each week now that I've gotten the exercise bug:workout:
I'm off to finish some laundry now, changing the spare bed for when ds comes home for the weekend. I am going to make lasagna, a completely allowed food for the Core Plan using whole wheat noodles. Can't wait, hope it turns out good.
Have a great night everyone!

Greetings all--a little late! I worked today--man, are there a lot of kids out of school around here! I was just thinking how lucky my family has been, then I came home to find DD sleeping at my friend's house and running a fever. Found out she hadn't eaten anything all day either. Talk about mother's guilt. Nothing I could have done or known, but don't we still feel bad anyway!? I made her dinner around 4:30 at her request, but she only ate 2 bites and was done. She says she feels fine, just not hungry, but then again, this child never felt at all bad when she had strep either. Sigh.
On the happy side, this has been a crazy week for DH at work. He's being persued by a couple of very big companies. The strange thing is that he never put out that he was looking, and is in fact fairly happy with his current job. But, the new jobs would be about 1 1/2 times what he is making now! The whole situation is kind of surreal, but he's interviewing for one next week, and the other the week after. And here's the kicker--DH has never not gotten a job he's interviewed for. O.K., could the grammar be any worse in that last one?! The best part is that neither job is downtown, which would mean a much shorter commute, or if we moved to a different suburb, we could live 5 min away! That would be awesome.
Hanna--I took last week off of exercising, and I became very depressed, and actually cried on several days! Funny how our bodies become used to the endorphins.
Linda--I'm totally with you on the fiber thing. Last week, I ate like crap, but had no problems. I've been getting in about 7-8 fruits/veggies a day this week, and watch out world!
Christine--Must be the week for weird dreams. Mine was so vivid, but by the time I told DH I'd had a freaky dream, I couldn't even describe it.
Chris--The only time I had a catheter, I also had an epidural first, and the catheter came out first! Sounds like your job is going well. I'm sure you'll do a great job!
Caroline--Glad the new job went well. I totally misread what you'd typed yesterday. I'd read it as saying the "butterflies start" was something you would bet. Whatever. I need to get out more.
Abby--Good luck to you and DH. Skinny vibes and fingers crossed.
Jan--I've done my own taxes since I was 16. I would just use Turbo Tax online. There were massive rebates this year, so I bought it because I got Quicken and the State version free, but was unable to transfer over last year's web info. Anyway, just use Turbo Tax, then next year, you just put in the new info, but you don't have to re-enter everything. So worth the $20! I don't think paying someone would really save you enough money to make the payment worthwhile, especially if you don't itemize. Nuff said.

Hi again
Well, it was a beautiful day here - really mild and partially sunny. I didn't get enough walking in today. I had business to do downtown so took the bus to work and back home. Did walk from downtown though home.
I had an ok. day at work. My boss seems to be stressing about something. Not sure what though. Think it might be family stuff.
I had some candy today and as I was eating it - I thought this is stupid so I threw the rest of it out. I would have points for it, but I really don't want to be eating that kind of stuff.
I don't work tomorrow, but I'm getting my hair streaked at 10:30 a.m. Then, I will go downtown for a couple things. Maybe to the Mall too - not sure yet.
I did phone a guy about foundation repair and left a voice mail so will see how it goes. I also found out the company that does the chimney repair so will eventually phone them too.
It will still be winter here for at least a couple months, but I wanted to get my "name" in for service early.
Enjoy your evening everyone.
