Morning buddies
Its another dry start to the day here in the S.E. of England with temps of 9c/48f and over night temps of 4c/39f but there is a chance of rain today.
Today I start work at my new job, feel ok at the moment but I bet the butterfly's start as I have to go there!! Its not that fair away so I can walk there.
I beat that metal monster yesterday as I lost another lb so I'm happy with that as I've been taking medicines for this cold. I'm feeling a lot better today, which is good news with starting work.
Well I better be off to do a few things before I have to leave for work, (sounds funny saying that) and I'll pop back in later this evening as I don't finish until 5pm.
:D  :bcbsalute

Hello, hello!
I went to the chiropractor, or however that is spelled, yesterday, and was adviced to not do my XC skiing race on the 27th, and not do my training XC camp this weekend. I am sad and disappointed. One part of me wants to ignore the advice, and another says it might be time to start listening to my body. I am closing in on 30 and maybe it's time to stop treating my body like I was invincible... I just may not be...
Anyway, I will rest today as well, and tomorrow, and then make a decision.
So today I will comfort myself by trying to buy a pair of black pants. The ones I have are too large.
Have a great day!

Morning everyone - another nice day is on it's way here to NYC.
I'm still floating after that 2.5 weight loss yesterday. Even at therepy I did an extra 5 minutes on the treadmill. I had a new therepist yesterday and I really liked him. He showed me so many more exercises to help strengthen up these muscles.
Caroline - http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_5_111.gif Another pound bites the dust!! Glad you're feeling better too!
Hanna - you had better listen to the dr. You don't want to hurt your back seriously. Then you'd really be in trouble. Give it a rest Buddy. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_14_21.gif
Hi Sandi - how are you?
Well that's about it on this end. House cleaning is on the agenda today. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_13_1.gif Talk to you all later.

Morning all.
It's cold and rainy here today. They say we will have a snow/rain mix all day today. I just wanted to stay in bed.
I get a new student today. Children with autism just seem to be popping up everywhere. I am sure it will be a new challenge for me.
I had my oil changed yesterday and got lots of walking in while wating an hour for them to get to me. So I won't complain about the wait.
Congratulations to those who beat the metal monster yesterday and good luck to those weighing in today. This bunch is so motivating to me.
Need to get going. Have a great day buddies.

Good morning all,
Hi there. I have a bit of a headache today so my message won't be long. I am seeing a doctor next Friday to see what I can do about these headaches and constant migraines. It is becoming unmanagable!
Not much on the agenda today. DH is leaving for Spain tomorrow, so I am working on finishing laundry, and when he comes home today I am going to get a few groceries - we always need fruit and vegetables - so that I do not have to take the two kids!
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
Take care,
Christine :)

Morning buddies. Am I aching! I did 1/2 hr on the treadmill before work (2.5 miles), then caught an aerobics class that was 30 min cardio and 20 min strength. I am so sore! Less than 4 weeks till I have to wear a bathing suit, so nothing will keep me from working out! What's so funny is that I know no one will really be paying attention to me, yet I'm just so self-conscious about wearing bathing suits in public. Maybe that's why I've only worn one once in a few years.
Had soup for dinner last night, and am now starving! Also got in LOTS of fruit and veggies yesterday, and had the gas to prove it! Yikes! Had one of my favorite snacks--artichoke hearts just sprinkled with a little salt. Trader Joe's sells packages of frozen ones. I looked at the nutritional info last night, and one serving has 25 cal and 5g of fiber! That's more fiber than any other fruit or veggie I've seen!
Caroline--I've never heard that expression-- "butterfly's start" before. What does it mean? And congrats on the loss!
Have a great day everyone!

Shar..she's got butterflys in her tummy because of her new job. Same here too, I almost threw up last night I was so nervous. lol yuck!
I'm getting ready to jump in the shower so I can leave early and stop at Starbucks on the way to work. I have no idea where I'm going this morning, somewhere in the mountains I've never been before. Hopefully I won't get lost!!
Anyone have Super Bowl plans?? I'm so sick of chicken so I'm trying to think of something else to make that isn't bad for us.
Have a great day Buddies!!:buddysmoo

Good morning everyone. It's another beautiful day here, we have had temps in the 30s all week and today we could get up to 40! It's so funny, because people are out walking around with no coats on. I even saw one guy yesterday in a t-shirt. 40 above and it feels like summer here. I'm not quite that warm, still put my coat on to go outside at least.
I had WI last night and lost 2.8, so I am very happy with that! I do need to get back into the exercising though, I haven't been to the gym for a week. I keep blaming my kid's schedules, but I know that is just an excuse not to go.
The cold I had for weeks seems to have gone away finally. It's nice not having to cough and blow your nose every 5 seconds. Just in time too, because on top of being swamped at work, I am beginning work on my master's paper again. I need to do some research and then take the final class this summer. If the paper is accepted, I could have my master's degree by the fall! Not only is that a great personal achievement, it's a bump up in salary!
I better get to work, kids have begun to wander in. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Buddies!
It looks like a nice day ahead although I haven't heard any weather reports yet. If I see sun, it's always a nice day!
I finally got to see Meet the Fockers and it was funny! I couldn't believe the number of commercials they showed before the movie, previews for TV shows and finally some movie previews. I know it's been awhile since I've gone to the movies, but, commercials? There are some funny movies coming out, two I remember are Hitched and The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. My DS and BIL had popcorn and I had two hard candies so didn't cave in on the bad stuff!
Caroline, new jobs always cause butterflys but you'll do just fine and good luck today! WTG on another pound biting the dust. :bcbsalute
Linda, awesome w/i yesterday! You go girl!
Kim, kudos to you for another 2.8 gone forever!
Donna, I wouldn't wish Jan. back for the weather either as it was a very bad month for us too. I meant losing a whole month...that's important to us old people! :p
Chris, where or what work are you doing now?
To Chattie, Hanna, Sarah, Dawn, Sharon, Christine, have a terrific day as well as all who follow!

Linda--We're going to WDW just for a day, then off on a Disney Cruise. It's more exciting seeing DH excited about it because he NEVER gets excited about anything!

Wow, I am really behind today, I usually post at like 8 am and it is 1:30 pm! I have actually been busy at work today, plus one of our other reps here is sick, so I have to take care of her stuff too. But busy is good, because that means more revenue and more commission for me. They just basically gave me a pay cut by taking away some of my accounts and giving them to other reps, so I really have to work hard now! Needless to say I am not real happy with the powers that be here, but at least I have a job, right?
So, I hope everyone is having a great day. Get excited, it's Hump Day! Only 2 more workdays left in the week!

Hi everyone
I'm way behind in posting, but it was a beautiful weather day here. Please NO ONE, wish January back. It was a hard month for me.
I went to grocery store then walked on to WW. I lost .4 lbs. today. There were a lot of people who lost .2 or .4 lbs. for some reason. I had lunch with another WW. girl - chicken veg. soup and coffee. Then, I walked back to her office and spent 2 hours with her. She is one of my financial advisors. Then, I walked home after 3 p.m. I was pooped. I had to dig up some information for her and e-mail it so didn't get time to post on line.
We had a girl reach lifetime today. She has lost 30 lbs.!!
I hope everyone had a great day.
Ashlee :walking: (to store and to WW. and downtown and back home)

Donna I am even close I live in NH. I work in the Boston area.
caroline- How did the first day go?
Kim-Congratulations on your loss.
